Well it looks like Im not going to Italy...even the the Tour Operator in Auckland didnt know.
With most sites being closed and some of the changed itinerary being in the no go zone looks like its toast. And thousands down the drain.
I'm so sorry! I've heard that some airlines are giving refunds. You should look into it.

Ugh. I guess it’s for the best with everything going on right now, right? It would be a bummer to get there and lots of places you want to visit are closed. Still disappointing though.

Well I guess Ive known it would happen like this all along...but the stress has been a killer. Will still take the three weeks Ive asked for off.
I just didnt want to cancel. With the whole tour being canceled means I hopefully get some money back.

Sorry to hear this news :(. Hoping you can go in the near future when things return to normal.

It will make more people wash their hands while it lasts — people have short memory. In addition to my DD’s suitemates not washing their hands, apparently they don’t flush the toilet either  (only when there’s a post it note saying Please Flush, lol)
 That does not sound like fun for your daughter. I hope she's able to convince them to have some good manners and hygiene.

Honestly, it is really annoying that people are going overboard, especially since most people would not feel any sicker than a common cold or respiratory illness. For example, I have had a cold or respiratory thing going on for 10 days now--and I haven't had anything like this in a long time, thankfully-- but even though there are points in the day I feel bad, I often feel great/fine. And no, I don't have the coronavirus! lol. But my point being--I don't feel the need to be extra cautious to avoid this type of illness because most of the time I have avoided it. And I try not to share too many germs with my family, but I haven't gone overboard about the whole thing. I just hope the panic wears off soon, and people become more sensible.
I hope you feel better soon.

For anyone who needs a good laugh, watch the youtube clip of SNL soap opera, Sands of Modesto. They did a great job cracking us up!

I was kind of wondering about that. The news had shown most sites closed so it would not have been a great visit since you couldn't really do much. I am so sorry about the timing of all of this! ugh. How frustrating.

I actually browsed through the episode on dvr yesterday, and my son and I were laughing about this segment! I liked how she sprayed the phone and herself with Lysol before answering, and of course all of the other crazy things they did.
