It is annoying but on the other hand, it would be annoying if people were cavalier about spreading the disease. When my kids were young, people didn't think there was anything wrong with taking their kids out when they had chicken pox because they assumed it was a mild disease to kids. Well, I was pregnant when I got chicken pox. It was scary there for awhile. The hospital was going to put me in isolation. It turned out okay because I had a mild case and it was cleared up before the baby was born but if it hadn't cleared up, he would have had complications.
DH is high risk since he has heart disease, and I'm high risk because I have asthma, so in our case, I feel we can't be cautious enough. However, I don't get why people are going crazy over toilet paper.
I think the craze over the toilet paper is because people worry that if they have a total lockdown here like they did in the original city in China, people can’t leave their house for a couple of months. Unlikely our govt will do that for fear of economics consequences. But definitely some are going overboard. I agree that the elderly and people with medical conditions (even diabetes) are at higher risk. Also, everything is heightened if you actually live in an area with confirmed cases
