I'm bummed out this morning. Last night my husband told me about a guy who died at an young age of 42. Same old as my DH. This morning I looked up the obituary and found out he died the day after celebrating his 11th anniversary. I couldn't hold my tears back.. I can't imagine what this family is going through. Makes me appreciate my family so much more! Such a sad reminder to never take life for granted...
Two weeks ago my husband's co-worker's mother died suddenly of heart attack. She was perfectly healthy. Another neighbor's dad's friend also died a sudden death. I am just so saddened by all these sad news. Sorry guys .. just had to let it out.

Aw that’s awful news. Especially when it happens suddenly. I can’t imagine what their families must be going through. The littles and DH need extra cuddles.

I sold a limited edition duffle yesterday. I love it but it was a sitter due to it's size. I hope the new owner loves it!

Sucks to have to let go of LTD editions but them sitting there isn't much fun either.

Has anyone ever bought the Swarovski figurines? We wanted to get some of the Star Wars ones, and they had a sale recently so I finally bought a few online. One of them I bought from Dillards because it was the only place it was listed in stock. Anyway, the Dillard's one was shipped from Swarovski, and it came yesterday. It was R2D2, and both of his legs were broken off! Crazy. I called Dillard's and they sent me a return label. Then I go online to check reviews as I assume Swarovski would have great ratings overall--- um, no....they had solid 1 stars on two sites--for various customer service issues.

The ones from Swarovski come today, so if they are not perfect, I will just return them to the store (luckily we have one an hour away--it sounds like the return process in mail isn't working well for many). I may not want any of them anyway because R2 was part of the collection I wanted, and without R2, it might seem incomplete. Anyway, I was disappointed in that low level of quality control.

That's to bad. I don't think overall their quality is that great, we've been in the store before and not overly impressed, pretty to look at yes, but quality no.

So to update on this, all of the other ones we received directly from Swarovski were great and in perfect condition. I also got R2 and BB8 on eBay and those were good too. It was just the one from Dillards. I think it was already broken and then shipped without checking the item. The rest that came were so strong I have no idea how that one was so bad. I am still waiting on my return money but will hopefully get it soon..

So to update on this, all of the other ones we received directly from Swarovski were great and in perfect condition. I also got R2 and BB8 on eBay and those were good too. It was just the one from Dillards. I think it was already broken and then shipped without checking the item. The rest that came were so strong I have no idea how that one was so bad. It's my second Day. The style works for me. It is way bigger than I need but I like feeling the leather. I wish they didn't have rolled handles. It's fine unless I'm carrying it for hours. Then it starts to hurt my shoulder. A flat strap would be more comfortable.
