Thanks! We had just moved the globe out of my son's room to make more space at his desk, and my husband suggested that they would be a good match with our globe. :-) Let's hope the droids and Yoda win, and the Storm Trooper doesn't get his way with our Earth planet!

The closet was packed! They weren't even on sale! If they had been, I might have been tempted. BV has such a poor resale value though that I'm probably better off buying one used.

That’s weird that they aren’t discounted. They probably want to keep it in hopes that someone is still willing to pay full price for something from last season?

Every Christmas, my mother would gift us with silly socks and as our family grew, she kept on gifting socks. One Christmas, she decided to change it up and gave us different gifts. We were so disappointed that we didn’t get our socks! She was surprised as she didn’t think we would care if we didn’t receive socks as they were just a small gift, nothing compared to the expensive gifts but those $1 socks were the best. She went out the next day and got us our socks. From now on, socks for Christmas is our ‘tradition”. Yes, it’s the little things :heart:

I love this tradition of yours (I might borrow this idea next Christmas, lol). Thanks for sharing.

I haven’t bought a new bag since Halloween so almost 4 months without a new bag (a record for me? Lol). But I have bought about a dozen new $1 socks. Here are the new ones from today.

That is awesome... the not buying and the socks! I returned my berry MK today. I like the new yellow bag more, and after seeing my credit card receipts and such I decided to get some credit back. I decided that my two Charlie bags were enough in this style, esp since I have been using small bags more lately. I have gotten rid of 5 bags now. They are replaced with two small ones and my Cassie on the way—all nicely discounted. I am kind of retailed out now. Buying and returning! And my credit card says stop! Lol

So pretty and happy!

4 months without a bag, that’s awesome, keep it up! Wish I could say the same. I’m not a fan of light pink or signature bags but somehow I bought one yesterday exactly with these features-go figure. I need to stick with socks, they are so much cheaper and there’s such a variety to purchase. My mom also buys them from the clearance section at Marshall’s/Tj Maxx, they have fun ones too.

Thanks C :). I love TJ Maxx — I still browse their bags for fun but can easily resist (even when I saw a brand new heather grey border rivet duffle there last month).

Thanks A :). I had to do a search of the thread because I couldn’t remember your Berry MK. It’s good you gotten rid of 5 bags to make room for your newbies. I hear ya on the need to stop spending :( — with a new pool filter, college tuition, property tax and more :(. All I can buy these days are $1 socks, lol.
