Its my all time fav style. I just can’t quit you Rogue!

None of the new styles speak to me like this. I am loving my borough and more recent dive into vintage styles. I have a couple of vintage Copley’s that I need to rehab!
I recently discovered how much I love the Ace Satchel, though not quite as much as my Rogues.

Cat update. He is very chill, acclimated quickly--he wandered around to scope out the place, and other than that he saunters, rests, eats a little, rests, saunters. He joined us on the couch and took my spot from me! lol. He slept there much of the evening. And later slept the overnight on the floor. That cat bed I bought is going back to the store as it hasn't been used and no use spending money on it for looks.

He used the litterbox last night so that was a relief. I was worried he might not remember where it was. He is a great cat, very sweet, but I am still kind of feeling odd like I have a guest in the house. So I just need to see if I get more used to it the next couple of days.

Awe. so sweet. That feeling is pretty typical, we even got that way when we brought in kittens... takes adjustment on both human and animal sides.

Wow. I know it snowed where we used to live in Indiana, and that made me even happier that we moved!

I don't mind snow, it's the brutal cold... no fan, it's hard working outside in it. Especially with the ducks, chickens they have no heated sources so i have to hand haul water. Bigger livestock here do have heated stock tanks.

Next time he takes your spot, pick him up and put him on your lap. My cats used to sit on my lap when I watched TV. They usually like the extra warmth of a person. Also, you can put a piece of paper on the floor to see if he will lie on it. Most cats will. I've never had a cat that used a cat bed. The main bad habit one of my cats had was scratching the furniture and rugs. She never would use a scratching post.

Boxes were always a fave of ours(well still are) the cats here don't have "beds" they just choose a spot on the chairs, couches and recliners lol.

Luckily he is easy to move and doesn't get bothered by it  I moved the cat bed so he could actually lay in that spot because it is out of the way. It seems like he likes to lay where everyone walks, which is fine during the day, but in the dark at night it could be different! lol. So he likes bathtub water, I guess, so I redirected him, and he handled that well. And luckily he is declawed in front so no scratching.

Oh gosh bathtub water? we have had a couple land in the tub lol. You tend to trip on cats.. it just is one of those things some are just very underfoot.

I completely understand that. We have always done this for the same reason although some people say it's inhumane.

Pretty sure it's now illegal here. I do know generally speaking it's no longer done(will double check on the legal factor lol). The little glue on caps are what are recommended. I have not had a declawed cat since i was a kid.. even then only the one was.

Okay found out 4 provinces in my country have banned it. Officially, speaking the Canadian Veterinary stated the following on it...

"the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association back in March of 2017, when its members declared their opposition to "elective and non-therapeutic Partial Digital Amputation (PDA), commonly known as declawing or onychectomy, of domestic cats."

I am not for it but am not some zealot who will go off the handle about it either. lol.

In this case the rescue cat was already declawed so we don't have to get involved in that whole issue. I was reading about it online and it is a big thing that people talk about a lot.

Absolutely, times and ideas change, no biggie. ;) It's very controversial, i do know some places it is illegal, need to check on where i live not 100% sure as it was nothing we ever considered doing.

They’re always finding ways to reinvent the speedy. When one comes you’ll know it.

Adam Driver’s hair definitely does a lot for him. He’d look odd if it was cut short.
Long hair is definitely in for boys. DS has long hair at the top and it’s cut short on the sides and bottom. I don’t get it, but he likes it. Lol

That’s great! I also read your post when he peed the carpet. Hopefully that’s a one time thing.

Awww this thread makes my day. Even when I’m not thinking about bags, I still to make sure I keep up with the conversations here!

I bought this card holder for my mom. She loved it for a while but eventually found it to be a little too small. She does bring it traveling when she only wants to carry one or two cards.

And one husband is sometimes too many lol

I’m glad you like it! DH and I are gonna start His Dark Materials too! The previews look interesting and it has the IM seal of approval!
I like that look with the hair a little longer on top.

Just a quick Happy Thanksgiving week for those who are celebrating next week. Eat a lot but don’t buy a lot of purses, ok? lol. I looked at the FOS today — nothing tempted me except maybe the black bandit (I still want a black Coach hobo at some point) and the sequin Rogue I mentioned a couple months ago, and the Cadet Blue wristlet (they call it a Star Wars item but I don’t understand why) — all with the extra 20 off early am. But luckily the 20% off coupon expired so I was no longer tempted. Instead, I bought some coffee from Amazon (good prices there).
