Alright cat people, I need your help. Lol. The honeymoon is over already! He is still a good cat , but he peed on our rug sometime today instead of his litter box . And he has gotten very persistent about following us to the kitchen whenever we go there to meow for hopeful food (even after his dinner) I have started ignoring him to not give him positive attention, but I wish he would stop.

Hopefully the rug thing won’t continue. He was doing great with his litter box and the previous people also said he did fine with that.
I hope the rug accident was a one time thing. Maybe he is a little stressed from all the recent change and will hopefully relax and settle in smoothly. Someone might have been feeding him treats in the kitchen; so it's good you are training him not to expect that. I imagine in some ways an older cat takes more time to train to get used to your ways. I have only had kittens or youngish cats from the start, and they are pretty easy.

Ok for those who are still trying to exercise — I just did my 1 mile walking exercise after skipping “a few”, lol, days. And I am a bit tired and wiped now. It’s hard to fit that measly 20 minutes in but it is on my mind most days — I hope to be better about this so I can work my way up to the 2 mile 30 minutes walk soon.
That’s great! I have been a complete slacker. I will admit it. Too much work and social plans. Those are my excuses and I’m sticking to it! Haha Need to get back on the ball. :p

I have a post that I think/hope @Iamminda will appreciate because it reminds me of some of her previous posts. Yesterday, we went to church, and the message was about how in the end your relationships are what matters most, as we do not keep our material things for all time.

And I was thinking, even though we are all material in some way because obviously we buy way more handbags than we actually need, lol, in the end we have forged relationships from our hobby--thus something meaningful has come out of all of it.

Obviously, I am sure that isn't exactly what the pastor had in mind specifically, lol, but it just made me think of how sometimes relationships are formed in different ways. I am grateful for the nice people I have met here!
Aw I like your way of looking at it and I agree! I honestly don’t buy much in the way of handbags lately, but I still enjoy coming here and looking at everyone else’s and our fun nonbag chats. :)

I actually hadn’t thought too much about a fourth Speedy until I saw @Chiichan ’s new Speedy and I thought it would be fun to have a MWT with those beautiful black handles! I’d go with a 30 as I like the size. However, I wouldn’t say no to Speedy 25 B in monogram, or an empriente Speedy. Too many choices. Good thing I’m waiting in the wings.
They’re always finding ways to reinvent the speedy. When one comes you’ll know it.

Aw! That is cute! Alexa5 came up with the best part-intriguing; I just added the tall & dark. ;) One of my boys grew his hair long, like Kylo long, over the summer. Much much older girls were checking him out. It's so different than when we were growing up. They pretend they are looking at their phones while also trying to see if he is noticing them. Or maybe they were taking pics of his Kylo hair. ;) He looked very cool, but I'm glad he finally wanted it cut and looks closer to his age again.
Adam Driver’s hair definitely does a lot for him. He’d look odd if it was cut short.
Long hair is definitely in for boys. DS has long hair at the top and it’s cut short on the sides and bottom. I don’t get it, but he likes it. Lol
Cat update. We are keeping Max (his name). We let them know on Saturday, and then went and bought some new items for him. He just seemed really happy and liked our quiet lifestyle, so I think it is a good match and a good home for him. They were very happy to see him doing so well and to have a home.
That’s great! I also read your post when he peed the carpet. Hopefully that’s a one time thing.

Awww this thread makes my day. Even when I’m not thinking about bags, I still to make sure I keep up with the conversations here!
View attachment 4595165 Can you guys tell me anything about this card holder? I’ve tried finding it online but not been successful

Thanks
I bought this card holder for my mom. She loved it for a while but eventually found it to be a little too small. She does bring it traveling when she only wants to carry one or two cards.
:lol::lol::hugs:aww thanks but one is enough. Wish I could say the same about having one bag!
And one husband is sometimes too many lol
Thanks to BBG, C and E, we really enjoyed watching “Watchmen” and are all caught up, now waiting for the next episode whenever that will be. I suppose we will watch “His Dark Materials” while waiting, lol.
I’m glad you like it! DH and I are gonna start His Dark Materials too! The previews look interesting and it has the IM seal of approval!
