I totally agree!!I don’t think it’s self centered to wish you could go away and do something special! I hope you can do something eventually, maybe you can both start thinking about what you would like to do![]()

I'm curious too! It all depends how much we're bringing. I love to get away without bringing much, but for long outings with food and water bottles, I bring a tote or someone carries a backpack.
Depends on what the recreation is? I bought a small lightweight nylon Pacsafe crossbody when I went to Europe and it worked awesome. When I go on my beach vaca I’m going to take this for walks on the beach and if I go biking or trail walking.
I guess there many different kinds of outdoor recreation! I'm not sure what I was thinking.@musiclover It depends for me as well. For light outdoor activities, going to festivals, light trail walking in a park I love my mini Coach backpack! So great to be handsfree. I’m thinking about purchasing one of the MFF medium backpacks as that would fit a water bottle better.
You'd like Oceans 11. I think it's the best one because it's quite fun and you get to really see Vegas and the casinos.
I love finding out about the Hawaiian islands. You've really travelled the islands extensively which is wonderful.
Gosh, that’s a lot of LV stores! I don’t think the fam is going to allow me to get to all of them! I’ll have to prioritize, sadly. I remember the Wailea store has the Hawaii limited edition pieces, but I didn’t notice anything runway but perhaps because I’m more of a “classic LV” shopper I don’t notice those pieces as much or look for them. I think I will try to get to the Whalers Village shop (easier with just me and DH) to look for my Clemence wallet. I’ve looked in four stores now but cannot find one made in France or made is Spain. So a Hawaii store is my last hope.
I am so far behind in catching up. I miss the app.School is out so it's been a challenge keeping the boys busy. My dogs been running away almost everyday every time my DS1 forgets to close the door behind him. Luckily I notice quick enough to bring them back home. We are finally getting estimates for the new deck. First one is $17k. Second guy came today. We'll find out Friday how much they want. In the mean time SAS is killing me. I am trying really hard not to buy any bags. Missed out on the Joni bag. It sold out. I should've ordered it last week when the cash back was 14%. Now I feel stupid.
I finally sold a bag that I listed last summer! Over 1k+ view and 28 watchers and I only just needed one buyer! Lol!
I hadn't shopped FOS since last February! The last new Coach bags I bought were the two kisslock Disney bags and the Eric Inkala shoes. It feels like a long time since I bought a new Coach bag! However, I have been distracted by Balenciaga in the mean time so.. I don't really stop shopping.. Ever.
I found a 1st generation red dinky for $40!
Also found a few vintage Coach bags that I've been hunting for a while. View attachment 4459105
Hi Chiichan, how are you? I will add your LV store to my places to visit. Thank you for your suggestion. The last few Clemence wallets I looked at were made in the US and beautifully constructed. I should be happy with any of them. I just thought I’d try to find a made in France or Spain to go with my Rosalie. At one point I’ll have to make a decision. The LV on Kalakaua has very good stock as well. The smaller sales tax and lower prices helps too.
I thought the Wallets were made in France or Spain? That bums me out. Not that I don’t appreciate items made in USA.

Well, there's the outdoor activity at home where it's just a single handbag. For example, for golf I take a wristlet or pouch and put it in my golf bag. Drive to the course, maybe groceries afterwards, then home. Done. Or walking with DH and I might take one of my cute Crossbody pouches. That's easy.
I find though, that one often does many different kinds of activities on holidays and I'd like to take a minimum number of bags.
There's the beach where you need a beach bag (1). Then shopping (2). There's also walking, hiking, cycling (3). If you go out for nice evenings of dinners and shows (4). I'm up to four bags and haven't even selected my carry-on or packed!
I am not one for backpacks but I would consider one of those cute Coach backpacks, or dare I say the LV Palm Springs Mini? Impossible to get but very nice.
I don't want to use my carry-on Le Pilage (large) for a beach bag. The sand is insidious and gets into everything and you cannot get it out. I have an old LeSportSac tote for that.
I feel I'm growing my handbag collection to include travel bags and I don't want to really do that. Right now my plan is to take a small LePliage, the beach tote (both can be packed flat), my MFF black floral Sage carryall and my MFF Ruby turnlock bag (looks like the LV Favourite). I can take my denim tearose Crossbody pouch for the outdoor activity. I'm up to six bags including my carry-on. I think I need some bags to double up but when you're away for a couple of weeks, you want to have choices!
Oh well, some people bring a lot of shoes. I can bring a lot of bags.
I might have just bought some SAS items: a 1941 clutch and a Nolita. Oops. But they aren’t bags! . And Eb**es is 10% off (need to watch them and make sure they don’t jip me).
Sorry to hear that! I hope everything goes okay.Just quickly—Dad in hospital, I am reading posts. No time to unbox new bag I got.
Be well and behave, ladies.
That's wonderful! DH and I did that a couple decades ago. Great that you can do this before more glaciers melt. So happy for you!Wow that's crazy! You must be exhausted. Even with less to do, the next three weeks are hard. It's never easy to keep little ones occupied. That alone is physically demanding. Hang in the there. You're almost done.
We're going on a cruise to Alaska! This is a bucket list check for me. It is quite expensive, though. DH says we need to look at it as a once in a lifetime experience and just enjoy.![]()
I am so sorry! Energy and thoughts to you and yours.Just quickly—Dad in hospital, I am reading posts. No time to unbox new bag I got.
