Jeeze, I have tons of pages to catch up on!! This thread moves so fast.

After ordering and returning 3 different bags to match my strap I finally found one I love. I didn't like it with the berry dreamer but for some reason love it with berry Charlie!! This bag has great organization and will be easy to use when I have my almost 2 year old with me. Wipes/diapers fit well in back section leaving plenty of room for my stuff in the other 2 sections.
Looks great with that strap.

I broke my ban. [emoji3525] I bought a "brown" stewardess as described in listing to rehab and resell. I had a feeling from looking at the pics that it might be rust orange which is pretty HTF. So it arrived yesterday and it IS rust orange! I'm in love and unable to get rid of it! View attachment 4315213
Beautiful! I loved that color when Coach did it.

DH and I watched a couple of Marie Kondo episodes on Netflix and we were both motivated to do some cleaning. I ended up going though my makeup/hair stuff, my clothes, and my bags.
DH made me bring all of my bags into our living room. He could tell I was overwhelmed, so he suggested sorting into 3 piles- Love, Like, and sell. After I did that he told me to pick 5 bags from the “like” pile to keep, bringing my total to 33 (3 of those are small crossbodies like the soho). I now have 13 bags to list! It feels good to have an organized closet.
I think from here I will speed date my other bags and sell/keep accordingly.
I’ve noticed that my other problem areas with “collecting” includes earrings, bikinis, makeup, and shoes.
I hope you all have a great week!

Didn’t you follow that method in the past or I am confusing you with someone else? Either way, good job!

That’s great Sarah. I need to do some cleaning/clearing out myself. DH kept bringing up M Kondo (maybe as a hint, lol) — guess there was a newspaper article yesterday about how thrift shop donations have been up this month possibly due to her show debuting on Jan 1, lol. I didn’t realize you are up to 33 again but great job on deciding on 13 to list. Good job.

I did! I try to revisit her methods every now and then to keep my clothes in check. I did this with my bags before we moved but they got out of control again lol.

I have no idea what happened! Things were going well before the move and BAM! Bag overload! The sales got the best of me this year. At any rate, my closet is happy again and I am hoping to get the guts to downsize to 20.
Oh I don't think I can let my DH watch Marie Kondo. LOL.

My DH is Marie on steroids. He throws away EVERYTHING and has no regrets lol.

My DH also likes to throw away everything. One time, he threw out his Disneyland pass at the end of the day after our visit (the pass was good for 4 visits a year, so he only got to use it once, guess he didn’t know/realize/remember).

Thanks, yeah she is now being medicated for her morning sickness but so far nothing appears like this baby hasn't stuck? she has another ultrasound mid next month... guess we will know for sure by then. She's worried... i admit i am to but that is pretty typical of the pregnancy that follows a loss.

Her blood clot has been concluded it was the pregnancy. Joy lol
I hope your daughter begins feeling better soon and her pregnancy goes smoothly from here on.

Since we are talking about green / blue / tealish bags and how to pair them, I recently came across these 2 images on one of the Hermès threads and I was smitten I think they’re such fun ways to wear color. I can’t tell if the coat is a pale nude pink or beige but I think it works with both of those colors. I need to remind myself that for me, if a bag has a simple clean design a bright color can look so great paired with other colors.

I would love a Coach bag this color!

This is gorgeous! Over the summer I almost changed bags because I thought the soft teal colored bag would clash, but I wore it anyway and realized it worked after all.

I have to tell you a funny story! My first day on TPF, there was a photo on the main page with a beautiful, tiny blue/teal bag being used as a clutch. I loved everything about it and thought I'd try to find it. Keep in mind I had never spent more than $50 on a greatly discounted, all leather bag. Imagine my shock when I looked it up to discover it was Hermes and that a tiny fun looking clutch could cost so much over my price range. :whut: Maybe it was a baby Kelly? If I find a picture I'll show you.

My recent bargains. And no, they aren't meant to match, lol! New Converse from Poshmark--I have the high tops in this color (Mediterranean, but it is the closest to turquoise you can find) but prefer low so was trying to find the same color in low top, and was finally successful! I will probably sell my high tops. And the bag is the camel/ruby mini Preston. I was ready for a new color to add to the mix. Great price on a new bag on ebay.

Your new bag looks so fun, but those shoes! They are gorgeous in that color! You have the most fun shoes! Congrats on the beautiful deals.

I like how you two worked together and he helped you with this! Congrats on getting your closet organized!

I am pretty livid with Coach's quality at this moment. Today is the second day I have used Elvis and this happened in the store getting my wallet out to pay. The cover on the turnlock completely snapped off. This bag is no longer made and from what I have read people have had bad luck with Coach repair facility. I have no idea what to do at this point. Do I chance it and send it in? Try to fix it myself? The bag was $450 at half price so for pete's sake couldn't it be better made?

That's not good at all. For what it's worth I had a dental filling come out years ago( I mean years ago, like 6, maybe).

My dentist superglued it back in because it fit perfectly and wasn't damaged. Still there, fingers crossed.

I think your turnlock would hold!

I vote for the superglue!
