I always check out the other Grace bags at Roots. It’s one of the best bags I’ve ever had for travel. I like all the carrying options plus the spaciousness of the actual bag itself.

Yes, i love looking at the bags myself. Often Grace are in short supply though.

Handbag lovers cannot beat Roots’ prince leather for travel and hard daily use. These bags wears like iron.

Even though your new black Grace bag is not the Super Prince leather, HS, I know you’ll enjoy it all the same. As you say, it’s lighter so it should be really comfortable to carry.

I definitely noticed the lesser weight. I actually was so surprised after i first picked it up, i have looked at other Grace bags but normally don't go around picking them up.

Wow! That is a noticeable difference in the handles. I think you’ll find the slightly smaller handles of the black Grace very comfortable. I like how they feel and I have small hands.

It's crazy, right? when i side by sided them i could notice it right away lol. I have small hands too... i can wear kid gloves ...

Oh I had a birth plan to go all natural! After whole 9 months of leading up to it and 25 hours in labor I had to get over my plan in 5 min and have a C-SECTION. Lol!

LOL, my first i wanted that too. AFter 72hrs of labor, stuck baby, crashing heart rates and my hemorrhage that literately almost left me bleeding to death? whew it all went down the drain.

I grow big babies but they don't come out of me well at all, that is the main reason why we ceased after my son... his birth was equally dangerous... i guess at least i was lucky my pregnancies were pretty event free with the exception of placenta previa with my second daughter, it wasn't severe though and corrected itself, thankfully.

I'll be honest it was awful watching my ODD go into crisis having my grandson in the exact same hospital as her and I almost died in not long ago.

I am pretty livid with Coach's quality at this moment. Today is the second day I have used Elvis and this happened in the store getting my wallet out to pay. The cover on the turnlock completely snapped off. This bag is no longer made and from what I have read people have had bad luck with Coach repair facility. I have no idea what to do at this point. Do I chance it and send it in? Try to fix it myself? The bag was $450 at half price so for pete's sake couldn't it be better made?

You could take it in for a repair and tell them you want it back if they can’t fix it.

So true! (speaking of birth plans) For me, I think I just never did a birth plan or anything--I just kept feeling like I should be ready for whatever, and to get things ready early. And it was a good thing because my son came 6 weeks early due to preeclampsia. And then when he was in the NICU for a few weeks, of course I visited him regularly, but I did also take the time to rest up while he wasn't at home yet because the whole experience made me very tired. For whatever reason, and partly because he was a healthy NICU patient, I wasn't panicked about being there around the clock--I tried really hard to balance my time so I could be ready for when he came home. And it is a good thing because not long after he came home he had colic, and we didn't get much sleep. We had to take shifts in the night to stay up with him as he cried and screamed. Life is interesting sometimes! lol

That must of been so scary! My babies never wanted to leave me, ran late with all of them...

Congrats, HS! She's lovely! I love your picture background. Don't show it to stick, though. [emoji41]

LOL! Thank you... that is now a nicely piled bunch of wood but at the time was just cut down and messy.. i thought a good rustic background though... your right, stick may get rather curious... bet he does not want to know all that is for the woodstove!:amazed:

I'm sorry. Take it to the store and send it in for repair. I had a star rivets crossbody that lost a star rivet after carrying it once. I sent it in for repair and they couldn't fix it and sent me a replacement bag. If that can't give you replacement bag or repair it, I think they'll just return the bag to you and you will get your $35 repair cost back. I took mine in the a store to send to repair.

We took lamaze the first time. When I actually went into labor, there was no way I could do any of it. DH wasn't home, my water broke, I called 911, and struggled to get downstairs to open the door so they wouldn't break it down. The paramedics had no idea what they were doing. You could see the contractions. When I got to the hospital, I asked for drugs and they said it was too early. Then a half hour later I was pushing. DH got there just in time to see the birth.

Good grief! your quick! Glad all ended alright and he made it just in the nick of time.

I have always felt a little guilty that I never had full blown labor before they decided I needed a C section.

Guilty? why.. you made it out fine and have a healthy child i don't give a toss how one got to that goal, THAT is what matters in the end, no medal for it going crappy trust me.. i was such a mess after my ODD i couldn't even feed or hold her for days.

I wish I had loved being pregnant. I didn't glow! I didn't have morning sickness but I didn't feel good. The second time I had placenta previa, which was really scary, and chicken pox right before delivery. The third time I had gestational diabetes and had to give myself shots. Plus I had premature contractions and had to stay in the hospital for two weeks because they can't give you the preferred drug for it if you are diabetic. I guess the quick labors were my reward, but I swear all the pain was just packed into a shorter time. I had an epidural the third time, which was wonderful.

Goodness you did have a rough go! i was fortunate in the pregnancy part... my deliveries just sucked in epic form lol.

Ugh.....I seriously still have nightmares about all 3 of my deliveries. 1st scheduled csection which I ended up hospitalized with a severe spreading infection which caused my incision to burst back open. 2nd induced with max amount of pitocin, no epidural or pain management. Labored 3 days before emergency csection but i got to nurse him while they were still finishing up my surgery and recovered well. 3rd was scheduled csection but they had hard time doing my spinal, then as I was just about done being stitched up I ruptured and they had to go back in and redo everything. I almost bled to death and I wasn't allowed to have her room in the 1st night because I wasn't well enough.

We wanted more kids but my midwife and doctors all agreed it is just too dangerous so I got a tubal done. Hoping maybe we can adopt or start fostering again.

So not fun, gosh what us women do to ourselves to have these "bundles of joy" lol. My deadly unexplained hemorrhaging ended me in the having kids department but we had DH get himself snipped.. no way would i survive surgeries.
