I sold a bag (from my secondary collection so no change in bag count). What to do? I used all my T’s earnings before Christmas but then I sold a few things since, lol. So some sales earnings tempt me.
Yay! Congrats! I still have money from the wallet sale and I keep itching to spend the money! We need to hire someone to professionally paint our tall walls in the stairway going upstairs. I should just save for that but it's so easy to spend money.

I have always felt a little guilty that I never had full blown labor before they decided I needed a C section.
Even if you went through full blown labor you could've still needed suggest surgery. I went through it all. Epidural and pitocin, contractions but my body refused to dilate. The doctors didn't have a choice once the baby was in distress.

One of my friends had gone the whole labor route but her baby's shoulders got stuck and the baby couldn't come out. She too ended up having a surgery.

You just never know what will happen and shouldn't feel guilty at all. Doctors are trained to do what's best for mother and baby. I'm just glad we are all healthy after all is done.

That was me — not enough dilation after a long time for the surgery decision to be made by the doc. Guess I should be grateful that I didn’t go through full blown screaming labor and still needed surgery like your friend

My sister had 36 hours of labor with a normal delivery at the end.
Yikes! I thought mine was long. My SIL too went through 30+ hours of labor. She never had another kid after that. She lost weight during pregnancy. I on the other hand has perfect pregnancy both times! No morning sickness, no complications. I loved being pregnant! Only the second time I was close to having gestational diabetes. But I barely passed the glucose test. Everything else was fine.

I wish I had loved being pregnant. I didn't glow! I didn't have morning sickness but I didn't feel good. The second time I had placenta previa, which was really scary, and chicken pox right before delivery. The third time I had gestational diabetes and had to give myself shots. Plus I had premature contractions and had to stay in the hospital for two weeks because they can't give you the preferred drug for it if you are diabetic. I guess the quick labors were my reward, but I swear all the pain was just packed into a shorter time. I had an epidural the third time, which was wonderful.

Ugh.....I seriously still have nightmares about all 3 of my deliveries. 1st scheduled csection which I ended up hospitalized with a severe spreading infection which caused my incision to burst back open. 2nd induced with max amount of pitocin, no epidural or pain management. Labored 3 days before emergency csection but i got to nurse him while they were still finishing up my surgery and recovered well. 3rd was scheduled csection but they had hard time doing my spinal, then as I was just about done being stitched up I ruptured and they had to go back in and redo everything. I almost bled to death and I wasn't allowed to have her room in the 1st night because I wasn't well enough.

We wanted more kids but my midwife and doctors all agreed it is just too dangerous so I got a tubal done. Hoping maybe we can adopt or start fostering again.

Yikes! I can't imagine what you have gone through! I used to have nightmares because I saw too many movies that had the mother die during childbirth! That was one of my biggest fear that I'd die during childbirth! My mom has this fear too but about any surgery. She had laparascopy and I remember her telling my dad to look after the children in case she didn't make it back. [emoji38] I think my mom just didn't understand the process that they were just taking a look inside.

Oh my!! My Mom was the same way when my Dad had his appendix removed. She is convinced that although rare the anesthesia will kill someone.
I was telling DH goodbye and begging the nurses to let me hold my 3rd after I ruptured. I honestly was convinced I was dying on the table once I started feeling really cold and weak. Also didn't help that my midwife was holding onto me crying lol
