This is cute. Hopefully for the sake of the kids and teacher, she will figure it all out. I've heard a lot of people say they didn't get various concepts until experiencing them. Once I was really sick with a sick infant and toddler, had been up all night, and a young lady said to me, "Isn't it great being sick? You have an excuse to rest." I remember when I didn't get it all (like right before the firstborn everyone said to sleep and go out as much as possible, and I was too excited to sleep, thought my birth plan would go as planned, etc...hee hee.) So it made me smile.Your post made me think of something funny my son said today. One of his two teachers is a young teacher that is not a parent, and I think it has a lot to do with her rather high expectations about children being quiet and low key. lol. Anyway today she told them she didn't understand why they were talking so much as they had all of break to do that. I said to him, what world is she in? You are fourth graders, you are at your first day back from break, and you all didn't see your friends over break. Of course you are all going to be a bit excited and talkative.
She is very odd, and clearly doesn't understand kids much at all. I would think even one year of teaching would have helped her to understand them a bit more, but I think she needs to become a parent. Then she will get it! lol
