Yikes! I can't imagine what you have gone through! I used to have nightmares because I saw too many movies that had the mother die during childbirth! That was one of my biggest fear that I'd die during childbirth! My mom has this fear too but about any surgery. She had laparascopy and I remember her telling my dad to look after the children in case she didn't make it back. [emoji38] I think my mom just didn't understand the process that they were just taking a look inside.

I was SO ignorant... i knew nothing but i was very young when i had all my kids... probably why i had more even after my experience with my oldest... looking back now.. ugh, i was stupid and I guess not meant to die.

So not fun, gosh what us women do to ourselves to have these "bundles of joy" lol. My deadly unexplained hemorrhaging ended me in the having kids department but we had DH get himself snipped.. no way would i survive surgeries.
Ha.. my DH keeps saying he will get vasectomy... That was 3 years ago after my DS2 was born. We just got a new boy dog and DH already scheduled to get the dog neutered.

Oh sweet baby Jesus these are some scary stories! Never given birth and don’t plan to [emoji23]

My friend is currently pregnant and every few days I ask her on a scale of 0 to FML how pregnant she feels that day. Her answers vary and are always funny lol Poor thing has had some rough pregnancies.

LOL! you sound like my younger dd... she knows all to well of my experiences and my oldest's and she is very turned off of having kids, her BF i know wants some though..

I am pretty livid with Coach's quality at this moment. Today is the second day I have used Elvis and this happened in the store getting my wallet out to pay. The cover on the turnlock completely snapped off. This bag is no longer made and from what I have read people have had bad luck with Coach repair facility. I have no idea what to do at this point. Do I chance it and send it in? Try to fix it myself? The bag was $450 at half price so for pete's sake couldn't it be better made?

My gosh! that is terrible, so sorry that happened. Is there a leather repair place you could contact to see if they could repair it vs Coach.

We're going to do it at home with two part epoxy. Other TPFers have said don't send it in. Coach would glue it themselves anyway so I might as well not let them mess with it.

Coach sent me a prepaid label to send the bag back in for repair at no cost. But I imagine they will just glue it back on themselves so hubby said we can do it here. I don't want them messing up the bag and I don't want a replacement unless it is #1 of 12 which probably isn't available. LOL. I have two part epoxy so we will use that.

Sadly, that is probably best at least you can still enjoy the bag.

Pics of the new bags I got today. Love the graphite link tote! It is gorgeous and the leather is so supple. It has tiny wrinkles in places but somehow they don't bother me a bit because the leather feels different than the other tote. More soft. Definitely keeping both.

Oh, that graphite one is especially pretty.

My DH refused to get it. I had my tubes tied right after my 3rd was born. It is easiest to do it then, especially if you already have the epidural.

I’ve always known children were not in my future. I’ve finally reached the point where people have stopped telling me “you’ll change your mind!” Which btw is kinda rude lol I think they actually believe me now because I’m older and my BF is even older than me lol We’ve been together forever and are on the same page.

But I have a lot of respect for Moms and those that raise children! I know I could never do it lol

The you will change your mind thing is really annoying, because frankly not everyone has a desire to have children. lol. Even some people that have kids have them somewhat reluctantly, and know in the end they will be happy with their decision (as of course you are going to love your child and not regret them). But I could have gone either way--I could see myself without children for life, but then at some point just decided that I wanted to go for it. My husband was kind of the same way--wanted to, but at the same time he wasn't adamant about it. But I knew one was enough. I have no desire for the chaos of multiple ages or pregnancies.. :-)

People can be so rude lol I’ve been told I’ll die all alone with no one to take care of me [emoji23] I’m on the path to early retirement and my investments that I refer to as “The kids college funds” will take care of me lol And how rude to imply that I won’t make meaningful relationships with my nieces! I’m sure they’ll be buttering me up to be in the will when it comes time [emoji16][emoji23]

That’s great that you know what you want! I’m sure you got your hands full with one haha!
