Good to think about. Yes, no matter how many bags or shoes I have, I always seem to want something new and having more doesn't do a thing to really satiate that at all. Time to settle in with what I have.
With my big collection, it is harder to get bored with my items. One thing I've noticed about my clothes is that because I go several seasons without wearing some of them, I don't get as tired of them. I just found some sweaters I had stored away and because it has been so long, it feels like I just got new sweaters.

I know what you mean — I want more bags despite having what any non-TPFer would call a “healthy collection”. Funny I don’t feel guilty about owning more than 20 shirts/various clothing items. But I have guilt about my bags/SLGs. I only have maybe 3 - 4 pairs of non-athletic shoes that I can wear without much pain (due to foot problems) — I should just donate/throw away all my old shoes that I can’t wear anymore. Maybe that’s why I covet purses because I don’t have another accessory like shoes to play with.

I don't think that is why. I play with other accessories and still covet bags.

I'm currently cleaning out my pajamas and realized I have more than enough to last the rest of my life. I just bought another pair of Uggs that I love, even though I already have tons.

I envy you that you have many pairs of Uggs (I can’t wear them even though they are comfy). I should get a special foot “disability” exemption for my bag ban, lol. JK LT.

One good thing is that DH never notices when I get a new pair.

I need to go through my other shoes and get rid of some. I wear Uggs or boots exclusively through the winter. I don't care for my summer shoes as much. I hate tying sneakers even if they are comfortable, but my feet are too narrow for most slip-ons. I didn't wear sandals once all last summer so I don't know if I need to keep any. Ditto for flats. I went through my heels and kept 4 pairs even though I haven't worn them in years. I might be invited to a wedding.

Anyone looking to swim away this weekend, we have the waters stocked! There will be no trespassing off the island!

Well if that’s around I’m DEFINITELY not leaving the island!! [emoji7]

I'm back and busy trying to catch up with everyone! I sold another bag, so I sold all the bags and wristlets I listed (4 bags and 2 wristlets)! :yahoo: Now I need to find a couple more. I plan to gift two bags as well. I need to check and see if I can sell some additional sweaters or blazers.

[emoji1327]‍♀️. Congrats on the sales! That’s fantastic!

I found a bag a couple days ago that I forgot I wanted to list, oops lol

I try to get 1 or 2 items listed every couple of days, but taking photos, writing up the listing, and researching potential pricing seems to take me forever! I try to get as much info in my listings as possible. And then I see other listings that have nothing but “good condition smoke free home” [emoji23] I wish I could do that but I feel like that’s asking for trouble.

I agree about being as descriptive as possible in the listing. Not only to avoid future problems, but I appreciate it as a buyer.

I guess the grass is always greener. I lived in LA for 4 years while in college. I never liked Santa Monica. Actually I hate the entire LA area. It's too crowded. There isn't any parking. There is too much traffic. I'd rather shop in Las Vegas. We go to Marina del Rey 3 or 4 times a year and are always happy to get back home where there is no traffic. The most interesting part of LA is Venice. At one time there were canals just like in its namesake. Too bad they paved over them.

Are all the canals in Venice, Ca paved over??

I feel less bad about owning extra when the items get worn, and even more so if it’s on a regular basis. It’s those items that you don’t use, but can’t seem to part with for whatever reason. That’s what always gets me.

So what kind of shoes do you wear in the summer?

No there are still some. You can walk along them. If you didn't know they were there, I think you would miss them.

Last summer I wore mostly sneakers and loafers. I have some sneakers I can leave tied and just slip on, so I wore those more than the kind I had to tie. Almost everywhere we go is air conditioned so my feet get cold in sandals.

Okay all, FINALLY got a new addition. Best part is is didn't take 50% of my current bag funds. If you all remember @musiclover lovely Black Pebbled Grace bag w/SHW? snagged one of those today in excellent preloved condition.

So now i own, 2 Grace bags in
the "small"... the closest i have come to doing this has been with my longchamps LP's in how i have a mini SH and a small LH.

They are so uncommon used, let alone for this price so i thought why not? My grace has some bumps and such from a lot of us over the 3yrs i have had her so i felt this was a good idea plus the different leather and hardware is a nice.

Noticed since it's the standard pebbled it's lighter than mine, i have what they dubbed "super prince" which is an extra thick pebbled leather.

Pics will come tomorrow as i just cleaned and condition it and we are black as the inside of a cows stomach tonight.
