I might. If they are 50% though I might as well keep the one I get if it is in pristine shape. You'll probably have enough time to return and reorder if they end up on FOS cheaper. It's likely they'll start at 50% on FOS.

We had a great time. Spent one day on Catalina Island, rode bikes from Venice to Santa Monica, went to the Getty Museum (HUGE!), and enjoyed being with DH's cousin. It rained while we were in the Getty, and we were very glad California got some rain. We saw some fire damage from that Woolsey Fire- so sad. DH played golf with his cousin and had fun, which was good because it's now 30 degrees here at home and going to snow tonight and tomorrow.Welcome back E! Hope you had a great vacation (hope you had fun despite the rain we have been having). Congrats on your sale — doesn’t it feel good to have no more listings (for now)?![]()
I know what you mean. Sometimes I take photos and realize they weren't very good. It's really a lesson for me about buying stuff too.I found a bag a couple days ago that I forgot I wanted to list, oops lol
I try to get 1 or 2 items listed every couple of days, but taking photos, writing up the listing, and researching potential pricing seems to take me forever! I try to get as much info in my listings as possible. And then I see other listings that have nothing but “good condition smoke free home” [emoji23] I wish I could do that but I feel like that’s asking for trouble.

And YES! I am so relieved that I don't have any listings right now!
Sounds like a great getaway! I love Santa Monica—the beach is gorgeous and the shopping is divine. We were there a couple of years ago. I look forward to going back.We had a great time. yeah, I realized that a long time ago. It feels like I'm carrying them a lot when I carry one for two or three days but do that 4 or 5 times a year. Still it only adds up to 2 or 3 weeks, and some bags get carried less than that. I started tracking use this year. I don't know if I can remember to do it every day, but if I do, I'm hoping to have a revelation at the end of the year. Some food for thought (at least for me). I was reading this week’s TPF Closet Confessional. This week’s author said that even owning 18 bags and switching/using them throughout the year — this amounts to each bag getting used about 2.5 to 3 weeks per year (and therefore it sits unused for about 49 weeks a year). Yikes! That doesn’t sound like a lot of use for those of us with 18 or more bags in our collection. Seeing it stated that way is pretty powerful. I am still hoping to get to 20 (I am very close) or at least don’t add anymore.
I guess the grass is always greener. I lived in LA for 4 years while in college. I never liked Santa Monica. Actually I hate the entire LA area. It's too crowded. There isn't any parking. There is too much traffic. I'd rather shop in Las Vegas. We go to Marina del Rey 3 or 4 times a year and are always happy to get back home where there is no traffic. The most interesting part of LA is Venice. At one time there were canals just like in its namesake. Too bad they paved over them.Sounds like a great getaway! I think what I might discover is that there are about a dozen that I carry more than the others. At least some of the others aren't all purpose bags. I wonder if I got rid of all my small bags if I would miss them.Yep, me too. I used to think getting down to 26 bags would be fantastic because that means 2 weeks of use per bag each year. But I never thought about the fact that even so, each bag sits in its dustbag for 50 weeks a year. How I wish I can get down to 12 or 15. But for the time being, 20 is my current goal number (but I am not going to stress about it). Keep us posted when you have your revelation later this year.

The other thing that always come to my mind that helps motivate me is knowing that no matter how many bags you have it is still easy to wish you had something different or new. What I mean by that is that it is easier to settle into smaller amounts of bags because you know having more doesn’t really solve the problem. I typically switch between types to help feel like I am making a change each time. So I might go from Dreamer to Dinky and then to Preston, to avoid boredom. And this way you get to use all of your bags. I do always still feel like everyone reaches a saturation point at some time. If a person is buying bags weekly, there is just no way to use them all.Yep, me too. I used to think getting down to 26 bags would be fantastic because that means 2 weeks of use per bag each year.
