Ooohhh I love the Parker. When I went in to hot stamp some of my hangtags I got to check some of them out. @Iamminda is right. The black/ pink quilted one looks better from a distance. What stops me from buying is the C at the turn lock. I don’t like it. It makes the bag asymmetrical. The SA did tell me that they would have a plain leather version with tea roses at the turn lock and it would have scallops they way the Fendi Kan I does. DD is 100% in.

Thanks for sharing about the Parkers coming out! I am going to enjoy waiting and watching this one! I initially wanted the all black quilted with rivets (either one) but now am leaning toward the smooth black. I'd prefer silver or dark hardware though. I'm hopeful something like that will come out!

Lol. That’s what I am trying to do. I funded my last two bags entirely through purse sales. Yessirree. Of course like WE mentioned in another thread, the problem is that I am nearly out of bags to sell so that is the problem. I am ignoring the fact that Mom’s Day, BD and Anniv are coming up in the next few months. Anyways on with my ban. Also agree with you on the C turnlock for the Parker in that it is slightly awkward (for me anyways) to turn it (something about the placement of the C).

I have multiples if I love a style. I also have a favorite color in different styles. I gravitate toward certain colors and styles so it works for me. Sometimes a color will encourage me to try a style I'm not instantly drawn to, and I've been really happy with that so far. I think that means I should try on more styles to see if they work better. Sometimes I love the way a bag looks but prefer the way another functions. If I find a bag that does both, I love it!

That makes sense to me too. There are only two bags I have multiples of: the LV neverfull and the LC lepliage tote. In the case of the neverfulls they are two different sizes but I use both in different ways. For the LePliage totes, I buy them in colors that match my other bags, or are super cute. Haha

I should mention the only bags I have multiples of are Coach. I have to remind myself that just because they're "affordable" doesn't mean I should have all the bags! I've been wondering if someday I'll fall in love with ONE bag that is just perfect and wish I hadn't gotten all of these, but for now I am happy with them. And happy to be on a bag ban for real this time!

OMG, that's the one I love too! I think it is actually called the Olimpia. They didn't have this exact one in red when I was at the BV store, just the one with regular weaving in red. I saw this one in a denim blue that was beautiful. They also had it in black and white or cream I think. There was also a tote style done in the same weaving.

Isn't it just stunning?! I didn't know it was made in all those colors. I've only been able to pull up the red and black. Maybe some day, in a couple years there'll be used one I can afford.

That’s great that you are giving your Kelsey to your niece — she will love it (I love the color every time I see your pic), Oh wow, this BV is more like a flap bag. Like you said, why did they name it a tote bag? Although NM sometimes gets the bag names wrong. Anyways, it is gorgeous, I love the criss cross (don’t know how to describe it) weaving in the back.

I love the Parker too! If there one that was all pink with no variations I would be in trouble. Lucky for me there isn't, so I'm safe. For now. I love the quilted one with rivets in chalk...

That looks like it! It was only a few months ago I was at BV and was told they didn't make it in red. I wonder if it was a NM exclusive.

(My memory might be failing me, but I think I remember seeing it in Saks as well.)

I would look at it about once a week and salivate. And deam. I actually wondered at one point if I should just get it and have that be my one purchase for the whole year, but I just couldn't pull the trigger.
