Ok. Hit me with your not hots!
Here are pics of the bags for which I swam away. I won't be buying anything for a long time. I feel like my collection is just about complete. I would like something in green but I'm in no rush and it can be a SLG. I was lucky to get them 40% off before they excluded new items.View attachment 3860533
You're keeping both of them? They look beautiful! I really love the suede. How is the opening?

I was planning on keeping one and another bag I had ordered but JAX wouldn't fulfill it with the promotion, so I decided to keep these two. I'll post better pics of the opening when I finally get home. But here are some I took quickly in the store. It's open with a center zip compartment but you can pull the tassels through rings on either side to "secure it.

I think you get a pass...you used the same bag for many months! And you are also trying to find something that doesn't hurt you, so that takes a few tries to get it right.

Thanks. Yeah, It's become more of a hunt and almost an investigation process:lol: My real intent is not to have a herd, I simply do not have the energy nor the desired effort to change bags a lot. I also am learning i prefer minimalist, simple kinds.. i guess i am the same way.. I'm simple, not overly fussy nor high maintenance so my bag should be the same.:coolio:

Does it keep you pain free? Then it’s a total win! Looks like some nice leather. [emoji3]

Don't know packed her up tonight for a quick run to a couple stores, i still took my phone wallet into the store and left 'her' in the car but it didn't immediately hurt me carrying in/out of the house... I've dropped a pouch and a wristlet in there to help organize.

The leather is nice, a classic Pebbled from the brand, being raw it's very floppy and soft...

I know your husband loves to buy you bags, but do you ever find it would be nice to do something different since you have so many bags? Or maybe you do want to collect indefinitely, which is completely your choice. I just always figured you popped in here occasionally because part of you wants to cut back. I just think it is easy to keep buying if someone says...here you go, or sure, buy another bag, but in the end the question remains the same...how many bags does a person really need or want, and when is it just a habit or addiction, so to speak? Just some food for thought.

My husband doesn't go out and buy me bags or tell me to get them, and my budget is much lower than yours, but he also didn't mind that I bought them as we both contribute our money to the household and he isn't the type to tell me what to buy or not. But I personally got to a point where I felt uncomfortable and knew there were other things more important to me. So I think at some point it helps when it is about you...regardless of if someone is allowing the habit or not.

Oh, it definitely has become an addiction for me. I always tend to over collect something ever since I was a child so I know it's a problem I have. Ever since having kids though I've pretty much stopped traveling and buying nice clothing/shoes/jewelry. It all became useless as a SAHM, no longer do I have the need to look "put together" for work so I just buy regular clothes and stuff from the mall. Handbags seem to have become something fun for me to obsess over and collect. Overall, I spend very little compared to my pre-kids life. Living on the road was ridiculously expensive and stressful. Now that we are "settled" we can go months without really even leaving the house except for groceries. I have however been working hard on limiting everything I used to buy on a whim. My constant Sephora shopping is now down to basically nothing and we have been cutting way back on unnecessary stuff for us and the kids. So far our 2017 spending looks nothing like 2016 which definitely makes me happy. I'm also super happy that none of the upcoming Spring stuff intrigues me much. There are a few things I'm eyeing at Macy's for myself and Christmas presents for family and then I think I will be content for hopefully a long time.
I also am pretty sure everything on my chopping block will just be sent to my local consignment shop. Once they are gone I'm hoping to do the 1 in/1 out rule after careful consideration I even really want/need another new bag.

I like the design. Very clean and simple. I would play with the tassel hanging down the middle lol are the insides lined in leather? I think they are totally worth the not hot!

Thank you and yes they are lined in leather. The setup is similar to the Rogue with the open sides and center zip compartment. The dusty rose has oxblood suede and the grey one has glovetanned oxblood interior. The center zip is lined in the canvas. To me they aren't as heavy as the Rogues since they don't have as much hardware.
