What makes it even crazier is that we bought the house from the owner of one of the largest home builders in our area. He employs a design team, how did a whole team of people think "Carpet under kid's sinks? What a great idea!" I'm constantly battling soap/water/toothpaste disasters since my 3 kids are 6 and under.
We had carpet in our kitchen in the last house. We installed hardwood and it was so much nicer looking and easier to clean!
This house we have a huge deck built by the previous owner using untreated indoor wood. Part of the deck rotted and half my left leg fell in a hole the other day. I'm really sad that we can't save the deck. My boys spend all day there and I don't have to worry usually when they are playing there. But now it's a safety hazard. We can't replace it this year. The only thing we can do is get rid of it. I doubt it will hold up if we get a heavy snowfall. It's bound to collapse. [emoji852]️

They do it because it is cheap and easier to install, not because it makes sense. You're lucky it isn't around the toilet.

Gross.... haha I’m not even too crazy about having a rug in the bathroom. I wish I had the space (and money) to make a Japanese style bathroom. Where the toilet is in basically a separate room from the bathing area.

Is anyone here on a ban anymore, lol? It seems every time I come in here the posts related to handbags are about new purchases? (I am guilty too, but I have far less bags than most of you, lol--like I probably only have 6 right now)

So just a reminder of whatever your ban goal is.... try to hang in there and keep it up

Lol with my last two purchases, my bag budget is basically decimated until at least next year, probably even further away than that. But I really am bag happy right now so I think it may just stick.

Whatever do you mean?!? [emoji6] haha. Yeah we’ve had some swimmers here lately. I took a little wade and bought a wristlet that I’ve already used several times. A well used purchase, costing me only a few bucks (after gift card, sale, etc) taboot. I’ve really slowed down my purchases. Mostly just selling lately. I would like to get a new work tote and a small crossbody in a red or cobalt color. Those two things are on list - have a few I’m eyeing. Waiting for the right price. I’ve resisted many super deal temptations, which is good. In the past I would have just snagged them up. Now I think more before purchasing, less impulse. And at some point probably a small LV. [emoji3].

And wow, 6?!? What type of bags are those, if you don’t mind sharing.

Oh yikes! Good thing you weren’t injured. Gotta luv it when you find out the previous owner used the wrong stuff and now you have to fix it. Have you lived in your house long? Do you have a yard the kids can play in instead?

He once used this house as a model when he lived in it. 2 of the kids bedrooms have 2nd story playrooms you get to through a spiral staircase or ladder and a lot of other cool weird stuff. I'm still kicking myself for not requesting he change the horrible carpet before they moved out. He was going through a horrible divorce/custody battle so we let him live in it for months after we bought it in exchange for some custom work done.

Lol yes! The black Cherry Rogue 25 with the Cherry charm. What's your DH buying? [emoji848]
It's your fault! I had showed him the pic your SA sent you and he went and got it for me, even the strap I already owned lol. I gave the extra strap to my sister because I didn't want him to feel bad for getting me something I already had lol. I've been having some crazy health issues lately so he wanted to get me something to cheer me up.
