Hi ladies!

Hope TooManyWantMore doesn't mind me hijacking her thread - need some opinions!!

I was super excited to see my local Macy's finally had these in store and the kicker - 25% off sale today!!! So off I zoomed over there just before 11am to take a look. I was not disappointed!

The problem is I can't decide between Saddle & Watermelon! I bought both and will return one. I got 25% off and then opened a Macy's card for another 20% off and a GC to bring me right at about $185 (price for the one I will keep) Woot! So excited :happydance: as I was hoping I could snag one for under $200.

Sorry about the quality of the photos taken in-store.......but would love opinions!!

I think I actually like the Watermelon best. I was surprised by how much I liked it when I tried it on in store. It's a nice pop of color that I think will go with a lot. There was something about the shade of brown with the Saddle that did nothing for me but it's a beautiful color as well. I'm with the hubby and voting Watermelon! :tup:

2nd! I normally stick to more safe colors. But, I really like the Watermelon since this bag is nice and simple. So, unless you don't have any neutral or brown tone bags, I would go with the Watermelon.

Congrats on getting a Dufflette (or two). I wished my Macy's had them so I can check them out myself. Both colors are nice. What color(s) do you wear? Do you have other brown or reddish/orange bags? The watermelon adds a nice pop of color whereas the saddle is more of a classic neutral. If I didn't already have a vermillion pebbled duffle, I would pick the watermelon over the saddle. Good luck deciding. You can't go wrong either way.

TooManyWantMore that is a great bag! It's definitely an instant classic. This is going to be one of those bags you come back to in 10 years and still be in love with it. You wear it beautifully and your mod shots are so much better than on the website.

I scored a croc embossed Denim Leather Duffle 34456 for stupid cheap but haven't cut the tags yes. Turns out I'm more in love with the sale price than the bag. She's going back tomorrow for this one. I just love the flat bottom and how the pleats look like it will help her stand up....unlike my Legacy duffles that collapse unless loaded.

Thanks so much and I agree. The Croc Embossed Denim Duffle is beautiful but I've been there too so I know what you mean. No matter how low the price is, it's not a good deal if you're not getting good use out of it. You're very welcome! :smile1:

Thanks so much TooManyWantMore, LVCoffeeAddict & Iamminda -- looks like WM it is!!

I didn't even get round to unwrapping the Saddle - as much as I am drawn to it - it is my 'safe' neutral color, whereas I have long been attracted by the Carnelian legacy duffle and do not have anything in the orange tones. I was worried that when I got it home and looked at it in normal light that it may be too garish -- but it is actually a very pretty color! So I am going out of my safe zone for that pop of color!

Things I LOVE about the bag - the color (of course!), the wide zippered top - so easy to find what you want at a glance and love the matching WM lining - so bright inside! I was pleasantly surprised that the strap is long enough for me to wear as a comfortable (low) crossbody - I'm almost 5'9" for reference. It has a lovely sleek profile that conforms to the body in a very flattering way! It's gorgeous! :love:

Congrats on your watermelon Dufflette. I also love carnelian but missed out on getting a regular size duffle in that color. I didn't know the inside lining is the same color -- how pretty is that. I would love to see the Dufflette in person some day. Enjoy!
