I got to see Dufflette at two different Dept. stores that I shop at... thought not as great as pictured in Stock photos...

I guess it would help to take out the stuffing and try the bag on... LOL

Thank you! When I saw the pictures of it here in a store, I really had to use my imagination because you're right, it's not all that impressive with the stuffing in it. I promise though, as soon as you take the stuffing out and lift the strap, it slouches beautifully. My pictures were of the bag straight out of the box...no hanging on a door knob or waiting for it to break in. Definitely give it a try next time you're in the store. Thanks, I sure will.

That would be awesome if you could get some comparisons! I'm going to try to go to Dillard's today to 'look at' the Denim. I'll try to get more pics but can't promise that they'll be any brighter. Dept stores don't always have the best lighting but if you brought something in Carnelian, I think it would give the best comparison. Thank you!

I'd call before you go just to make sure that they have it. So far, I've only seen the fabric signature on the Coach website. The leather ones have been in dept stores.

Here's a couple of pics from Macy's. They did not have the dufflette in Watermelon but had a scout hobo in that color right next to the Saddle dufflette. I love the dufflette style!

The second pic is the Watermelon hobo more up close. My first thought on the color was that it is definitely orange and I don't see any pink hues as the name might suggest. The edge paint is red. I haven't seen carnelian in person so I can't compare it but hope that helps a bit!

Oh, your store had much better lighting! I actually thought the Watermelon was a nice color. I had to keep telling myself, "You came in here for blue woman!" I do see orange tones right away but thought it was brighter than Carnelian if my memory serves me well. Very helpful, thank you. :smile1:

Congrats! The denim is so pretty. I missed out on the cobalt legacy duffle so I am putting this on my wish list. Enjoy your new duffles :)

I was curious so I went back today with my carnelian duffle- the large size. I cld not get my duffle to stand straight so you need to factor in that it is slouching a little

I realized I was wrong on 2 things from my first visit:
- it seems a brighter orange than carnelian (lighting in the store is not very bright)
- the strap is actually longer than the duffle strap; so I cld wear it comfortably as a cross body. But the strap has less width. So it would be a tight squeeze for the legacy duffle straps.

Some comparison pics, including one with bother my carnelian and watermelon legacy wristlets so you can get a sense of the color difference.

Then you definitely need to check this one out! It's a brighter blue than what comes to mind when I think 'denim' but very pretty. Nice pop of color for summer without being too flashy IMO. I'm usually afraid of color but loved both the Denim and Watermelon. My son even liked the Watermelon best on me.

Exactly what I was thinking! wasn't aware that it's a longer strap though. That will be a great thing for many considering this bag. Thanks for taking the time to compare and posting pictures, it's very helpful. :smile1:

Thanks for going back to the store with your Carnelian duffle. I think I like the carnelian color slightly better. I bet this watermelon color is more like my vermillion pebbled duffle. I stopped by two Macy's this weekend and neither had the Dufflette yet. I still want to see it in person.
