There could be a lot of various factors at play here. Could be they are downplaying their actual purchases. Keep in mind, a video title like "GOT MY FIRST MINIKELLY WITH NO PRESPEND" is going to get much more attention and clicks. The other side of this is people who claim they worked really hard because they don't want to appear "privileged" because they want their audience to see them as "just like me", when they probably got it off some reseller.Something I think about is that people who become influencers; i.e. people who have the luxury to drop their actual jobs to go about filming luxury content have parents (or even partners) who are really well off and support their lifestyle. These parents also buy a lot from luxury stores like Hermes. I'm not exactly sure if family profiles are connected or if these people are buying under their parents' profile but it makes sense that an influencer who buys a pair of oran sandals is offered a mini kelly afterwards simply from the strength of the total family profile. A lot of influencers claim to have "worked really hard" to be able to afford all their items but I don't buy it since they built their brand/blog off luxury items in the first place.

Is it just me? why does part of the post get cut off. I can’t read the whole thing.ok…..check out the Fake Birkin Slayer’s stories…..
Ha, that’s all I said…..(but to elaborate)Is it just me? why does part of the post get cut off. I can’t read the whole thing.
I do not know and would never make an accusation; but, the bag in question is posted with hashtag CHAI.Is her bag fake?? When people ask where she got it, she keeps saying “watch my stories”
I’m inclined to agree with you. Her bag from her YT reveal vs the bag currently for sale at FP. Stitching and leather grains are identical. I always get a kick out of when people show off bags here or on other SM before flipping them because we can always tell.

Soooo… how many Kelly bags are lined with togo leather?I do not know and would never make an accusation; but, the bag in question is posted with hashtag CHAI.
Then she posted a screenshot of it (the one labeled Chai in her post) and said no it’s Trench. Then she says she was so mad she made a mistake it’s Gris T.
Both she and TFBSlayer removed several posts in their stories. What a mess.
Yep! And I saw after I posted that the location of the bag in question is NY which is supposedly around where she lives...........I don't mind asking gently when she posts another video! The specs of the bag she detailed in her unboxing video vs the specs of the bag in the FP listing... even the production year vs the date she received the special order (2021). O.M.G.
So...who's going to comment under the YT video in question?![]()
Lol her newest stories are just a list of her “Hermès” pieces without any proof of purchase. Beginning to smell a little desperate. One way to solve it and save her reputation IMO...post receipts (sensitive info covered, ofc).
