There could be a lot of various factors at play here. Could be they are downplaying their actual purchases. Keep in mind, a video title like "GOT MY FIRST MINIKELLY WITH NO PRESPEND" is going to get much more attention and clicks. The other side of this is people who claim they worked really hard because they don't want to appear "privileged" because they want their audience to see them as "just like me", when they probably got it off some reseller.

Like I said before in this thread, the currency of most influencers is envy. If you are gullible to believe they somehow got special treatment for whatever reason, you're more likely to see them as an authority on the matter.

Ha, that’s all I said…..(but to elaborate)

1. First we have a company selling fake bags at some very well heeled country clubs at Charity Events …UNREAL! ( I may or may not live in these communities….should I call the Feds!)

2. Then they call out damselinvenice alleging that her Chai Kelly is fake, and she says I never said it was a Chai Kelly!, it’s Trench! meanwhile, all her hashtags say #Chaikelly or #hermesChai.

you can’t make this stuff up ….


Wait, she just updated her story and said it’s Gris T! I can’t!

I do not know and would never make an accusation; but, the bag in question is posted with hashtag CHAI.

Then she posted a screenshot of it (the one labeled Chai in her post) and said no it’s Trench. Then she says she was so mad she made a mistake it’s Gris T.

Both she and TFBSlayer removed several posts in their stories. What a mess.

The specs of the bag she detailed in her unboxing video vs the specs of the bag in the FP listing... even the production year vs the date she received the special order (2021). O.M.G. :shocked:

So...who's going to comment under the YT video in question? :rolleyes:

Yep! And I saw after I posted that the location of the bag in question is NY which is supposedly around where she lives...........I don't mind asking gently when she posts another video!

**Edit: I asked gently! Seems like others are also asking about her collection.
