The person who purchased the bags doesn’t know that her bags was stolen from a popular reseller. Either way the person will take a major lost in the wallet. Or if Tamara really wants the item back she will have to pay for it back
Unfortunately, this is not a moral gray area. In the US, if you know that the item was stolen, you have to give it back. She can then sue the person who sold it to her to get her money back.

There's a reason why she said "too bad so sad" to Tamara at first, but decided to return the item after speaking with law enforcement. She was legally required to.

Tamara, but I can see both sides of this matter …….. The person who purchased the bags doesn’t know that her bags was stolen from a popular reseller. Either way the person will take a major lost in the wallet. Or if Tamara really wants the item back she will have to pay for it back …….. which will suck on Tamara part !
Ah, no. There are no two sides. If one is in the business of peddling second hand goods, especially goods that are frequently stolen and sold, it‘s the businesses moral, ethical, and legal obligation to assure the goods were obtained legally. Full stop. The art world does that. But in a world where every Jack and Jill try to start a business by reselling luxury goods, these business practices are lacking. That’s on the business, not the consumer.

As for her letting it go. She did. She is just now telling what happened those years ago….

Now that's some tea I'd like to hear about on a Friday  What happened here? What did she do?

I’m all ears lol someone spill the tea !

This is just not a good person. First, she clearly chose her name to be purposefully confusing with PurseBlog, and over the years it’s also become pretty clear that one of her chief sources of information is (and/or has been) PurseForum and PurseBlog. I personally have had my work pretty blatantly plagiarized by them*, and was told by numerous people that this was just par for the course, and something that blog does regularly. It used to bother me, but honestly, it’s more sad than anything else. I believe that she has come to rely on the blog for her self-worth. Friends who have met her at events (funny enough I’ve never seen her in person, although I know we have attended the same events…maybe she avoids me ) have remarked on her vapid-yet-palpably-desperate personality.

I’m sure there are other issues, these are just the ones I have experienced personally.

* the first time I noticed this was fairly comical, with me getting a few paragraphs in and thinking to myself, “why does this article sound so familiar??”, and then suddenly realizing that it was a very slightly altered version of an article I had written. I mean - I had created a list within the article, and she didn’t even bother to change the order of the list! If you find that article, you can see my comment at the end calling it out; she never bothered to read or respond to it. :shrugs:

Ahhhh thanks for the explanation.
When I first came across her blog, I too thought she was affiliated with PurseForum. It was the pink/black color scheme and the website template with the black bar at the top. It makes sense now that it was intentionally confusing.

I’m sorry they stole the articles you took time to write :-s

I am sorry she steals your writings/articles. Probably because she has no inspiration?

Are you talking about Purse Bo* ?

She very rude and not nice ! Also , I wish she will stop telling lies about how to score at Hermes where she can’t even score a Herbag at her home store in Chicago . This individual is a habitual liar and will sell thousands of fake dreams. Since we used to both shop at Hermès Chicago something big happened at the boutique where she chose to only shop at Madison or FSH . I wish she would just come clean about it , because the streets are talking WHY SHE DOSNT SHOP AT HOME BOUTIQUE!!!!!!

Ahhhh thanks for the explanation.

If she can steal articles that should tell you about a person like her . It’s terrible and to type it like if it was hers WOW !

I was told if you can steal. You can k*ll and destroy . Shame on her ! I don’t find her blog informative just PLAGIARISM at its finest .

NP, I didn't know this story (I'm not a reader of that blog) but I am so very sorry to hear it. :hugs::flowers:

It's the person who runs another blog about bags, called Purse***. Much of the content is...similar...to tPF/Purseblog content.

It's so weird to have an influencer thread where we cannot use names (since influencers' ENTIRE purpose is building a name brand).
Anyway....This particular blogger was a member here and I believe the relationship with tPF did not go well as she no longer appears to have an account. There's only one other highly hyped, extremely active blog about purses with a heavy focus on Hermès. HTH.

Thank you for highlighting this. The absence of names makes reading rhis thread difficult at times.

To clarify, we have no such rule. Of course names are permitted, it's when people are being vulgar, overly personal and unkind we step in and remind that often these influencers are your fellow members, and that isn't the purpose of this thread.

I have noticed that for sure, it's no coincidence. I agree that it's more sad than anything, and I applaud you for having the strength of character to rise above it (I don't know if I could). Her articles are poorly written, even when copied from your articles.
