I am glad to hear you got good customer service at NM. I always thought this was meant to be a schlep bag in which you could carry quite a bit.
Are you talking about the stitches holding seams together or the more decorative type stitches?

Take it back. I think Chanel has had some issues recently. I've got a white baby cabas...used maybe 5 times...it's got some loose stitches around the bottom. Makes me cautious about purchasing anything else!

it was the decorative stitches that create the diamond pattern on the sides of the bag. the stitches were coming apart at the bottom of the bag.
