If you were to have only one Kelly, sellier or retourne?

LOVE my Sellier because I prefer structured bags. Retourne is still beautiful though.

For me it would be Sellier In Box leather in a 32 or 35.
Even though I admire the Retourne and would probably use one more (again I'd probably go for 32 or 35) I personally feel the Kelly IS a structured 'hand-baggy' handbag.
There's a sleekness and an elegance to it.
The Rotourne style is instantly more carefree, borderline casual to my eyes.
I feel Kelly Sellier still looks great worn with jeans and a crisp white shirt and sneakers however

Gah, only one? Retourne because it’s easier to use day to day. I’d love a very small black gator smellier with GHW for formal but don’t go out much anymore.

Sellier hands down! Love the “ladylike” look in box, but it still works really well with jeans. Only have the one but her to death, still takes my breath away. Birkin does the “casual” slouchy duty

its the outfit that makes the difference. A bag (even a goddess of bags like a kelly) can only do so much.

Yesterday, my fabulous girlfriends (who aren’t here on tpf) and I were chatting about fashion and style. One topic we had was if we were to only have one kelly, would it be the sellier or retourne regardless the size. It’s been almost 24 hours since and no one has had a solid and clear answer to it. It’s like asking who’s one’s favorite child. Anyway, I want to carry out our conversation onto here so I could share with them what you guys, who may have a more decisive nature towards this topic, think about the two types of construction for the kelly.
