If you were to have only one Kelly, sellier or retourne?

I have both and was a sellier girl until I got my retourné. It gets more use.
From my experience, if it’s the only H bag then retourné. If there are plans to add a birkin retourné, then sellier for kelly. The ideal scenario would be to have both for kelly 😃

I only wished for one quota bag and its a k25 retourne. Its definitely very easy to use open close and i can dress it up or down. Sellier for me looks too formal most of the time (and I also prefer soft/squishy bags)

The cassis clemence is stunning esp with the ghw. In the lighting it also has a rouge tone. Lovely.

Now that I own both: retourne feels more comfortable worn cross-body and is easier to open/get into, but sellier looks more chic

If I could only have one it would be Sellier right now, but only if I own at least one regular (retourne) Birkin

Retourne without question. Sellier looks a bit too “prim lady” for my style. And retourne is easier to use.

I have both and I would say that I would choose a Sellier either in a size 25 or 28. It’s very easy to dress down this style versus Retourne which is a little bit more casual and relaxed so if one would want to use it in a more elevated style, that would be slightly more difficult.

Because I own a couple B25 retourne, I would opt for K25 sellier. I love the proportion and structure of sellier over retourne but love and use both.
