If you could only save one bag from your collection, which would it be and why?

This is a toughie, like being asked to choose among your children!!!! All 20+ of them lol.

I dug deep, and my answer surprised me. I own many more an expensive or beautiful bag, but the one I would go with in the end is this one that DH went and picked out all by himself and surprised me with for Valentines Day, complete with matching shoes.

He was SO SO SO proud of himself that I didn't have the heart to tell him that it's really not my style, and I'm not much of an MK gal. But you know what? Turns out it doesn't matter. I may not carry it the most, but to me it means much more than all my Hermes, LVs, Chanels or what have you put together  And I wear it proudly whenever the occasion calls for, er, well lots of gold ;)

This is so sweet!

My first Chanel. My fiancé has always been very careful financially. So him spending over 4K on a bag was something he never though he would do since he didn't know that bags could be so expensive.

So that bag means a lot

This is a really tough question, but I will answer it in two ways.

First, functionality wise, I would save my Louis Vuitton Neverfull. The reason being that it holds anything and everything with room to spare. So if I'm in a situation that calls for me to grab a bag and run, I would snatch that one and shove as much crap in it as possible on my way out.

Second, sentimentality wise, I would save my Louis Vuitton Alma. I was obsessing over this bag for years, missed out on opportunities to get the one I wanted and just wouldn't stop until I finally obtained one. After two years of saving, making phone calls to the LV customer service number to hunt a specific one down for me and a lot of second guessing, I couldn't have been more excited when the big box showed up. This was a huge purchase for me and it just showed that the hard work and consistent saving was well worth it!

It would be my See by chloe adele zipped bag because it was the bag that turned me away from the gateway brand, Coach. I learned from that bag to really appreciate well-made leather and it is that bag's fault I am a purse enthusiast. It would be both sentimental and functional. It can fit my macbook air so it was originally my work bag. But it's also a great everyday bag for a grocery trip or traveling. And it's black so it matches with everything.
