So I was given these bags from a family friend. She purchased these when she went to Europe but these are so old I have no idea of the style or even if they are real. She didn’t keep any of the dust bags or boxes or anything like that. I would have to guess these are over 20 years old. Can anyone help in identifying them?

The second one is a Petit Noé. The first one is a bag from the French Company era, but I am not familiar with those.

If it helps, the felt inserts you can buy from third parties would give that Petit Noe a fresher look, it will beef up the structure.

Hello everyone! My name is Barb and I have inherited a large purse collection from my mother. I am in the process of going through them now and trying to learn more about them. I know she had this LV bag for a long time. Does anyone know anything about this bag? I cannot find any information about it.IMG_0498.jpgIMG_0500.jpgIMG_0502.jpgIMG_0503.jpg

That looks to be an old French Company* clutch, most likely from the mid 70's to early 80's if I was to hazard a guess, although I have no idea what it's actually called since FC pieces are not my strong point.

*The French Company was an American luggage and purse manufacturer that collaborated with LV back in the late 60's to late 80's where, in a nutshell, LV sent over bolts of their canvas and gave permission for the FC to independently craft their own unique designs out of the material. These FC pieces are an obscure branch of the LV family tree in the sense that they are recognized neither as actual knockoffs/counterfeits nor are they seen as true LV, instead they sit somewhere in between and are still enjoyed by collectors today.

Thank you Miss Krys,
That really helps me gain a better understanding about this purse. The timeframe is correct for when she had it and I learned that high end department stores carried them and that would be my mother. Thank you for your input. Have a great day! Barb

thanks! Is this discontinued? Couldn't find it on the site
Not sure. If you have an SA, I would ask them and send them the product number. I've found things on the EU and UK site that I send to my SA. She ends up telling me that they're backordered from a few weeks to a couple of months in the US, which is why they're not visible on the US website. Some products aren't released globally, so your SA will know if an item is region exclusive too.
