I bought this thinking it was a Bastille MM. It is not. I have no idea. Can anyone identify? I found one on eBay in the color Dune and they identified it as a Boetie - but the Boeties I found look nothing like this. TIA

Here's one on Yoogi's:

Hello, everyone. Thanks in advance for your help :)
Here is a bucket bag in full calf leather, I can't find it's name. Does anyone here know what could it be and from which year?

Not that the seller can't find the serial number, however she is confident that it is original because she bought it herself.vuitton.jpegvuitton.jpegvuitton.jpegvuitton2.jpegvuitton3.jpegvuitton4.jpeg

I'm pretty confident it wasn't made by LV.

Can anyone identify this bag that was around in the 1968-1969 Era?

Let me help. This is a Noé. But a very special one, hence the unusual hardware, strap and leather. In 2012 Vuitton introduced the Haute Maroquinerie made-to-order service in a few select stores. Clients could choose from 5 designs: Noé, Triangle, Lockit, Milaris and Neo Steamer, and they could pick the exterior and interior leather type, leather colour, as well as they could choose if they preferred gold or palladium hardware. As an optional service, they sewn a leather tag onto the lining with the full name of the client, not just our simple monogramming, that we usually get. All these bags were made in the Asnières Atelier, where all other special orders are made. After designed by the client, they arrived within 5-6 months, had a special box and a stuffing pillow. So this is not a typical canvas Speedy, this was a high-end design, meant to battle the Birkin itself. The datecode is located in the inner pocket, but it is a blind stamp, so it is hard to see (see attached an example). I don't know if the service still exists or not. The website lists it as an option for the Moscow store, but nearly nowhere else where it was available. I see why it did not become popular, but it sure was an interesting line.

Thank you for your input. Well it says "louis vuitton" on all the elements of the bag.
You believe that this is not a genuine LV bag? I really thought that I couldn't find the model cause it was a limited piece!
I'll let it go in that case...
As I said in my previous detailed post, it is even more than a limited piece, it is a made-to-order special edition (made in an Atelier where even actual Vuitton family members work). And since these bags were far from popular and used these custom, unusual hardware, they are waaaay more difficult to make counterfeits of, than regular popular bags. But even though most Haute Maroquinerie pieces out there are genuine, we cannot tell you for sure here that this bag is. Those so called autnentication services (which I find ridiculous) might help, but for sure, only Louis Vuitton knows.

Oh wow, thank you for your valuable input Bull! I initially cancelled the order with the buyer as the other OP said it was not made by LV but now you made me wanna buy that *special* bag even more because it sounds very precious!

I can't wait to receive it now

I am glad I could help.
As I said, this doesn't count as proper authentication, but bags like this did exists for sure. And they were all special, and (most of them) one-of-a-kind. A double check won't hurt after you received it :)
