I won't make it. I was invited to speak at an education conference that week. The 2 are far enough apart that leaving one and getting to the other in time would be a pain (if not highly improbable).
I would dare say that 90% of the people who show up at the ISF event don't give a hoot about the foundation, they simply want a chance at Ian. Until the next hot thing shows up on the scene, he will be relentlessly chased. [An aside, why does past tense sound correct, when I'm writing about the future? ahh, English.] Perhaps a greater percent for the STHS event, but again, these events would be less than 50% capacity if Ian wasn't making himself very available. But if he gets what he wants (money for the foundation, STHS) then it doesn't matter the reasons, just the results. I actually have a good reason for writing this, but I do not want to broadcast it.
Organic is very expensive, but lately not much more than regular. I eat very little (although I'm quite good at storing what I do eat) and am not feeding a crowd. If I were feeding teenagers, I would have gone broke long ago. I do find it humorous that eggs are labeled "free range, grain fed" when they mean the hens, not the eggs. I can just see these little eggs, rolling about, trying to eat grain. And I wonder about free range hens around here, with all the bald eagles, which regularly snatch smaller hens. Not to mentions teacup dogs, small cats (although that is fraught with peril for the eagle), and other little creatures. Then there are the coyotes, which are cat and chicken eating machines. I have to admit though, there is a reason Whole Foods is called Whole Paycheck.
I do expect to see photos from the STHS event.

I think it's going to be a great event and will help support a really good cause for quite sometime. They are on my Christmas list for a donation.
