Oooo what are you thinking on the earrings 2 CTW? That's what I would like at some point I think they frame the face sooooo beautifully, I have 1 CTW right now but since my hair is so long and where my ears were pierced they don't quite give me the effect I want. My mikimoto pearls are about the size a 1CT(2CT total) stud would look like and they frame my face great.......one of these days.....

Hey, if you get larger diamond earrings you could turn your current studs into a beautiful necklace or take one and make a solitare pendant.

Swanky, check out Catherine Iskiw's jewelry. She has some great pieces. I have this necklace that I wear all the time. I also have a pair of diamond studs from the same collection. It is set in platinum.

Lola, I have approx 1 ctw studs now and almost everybody thinks they're the 'right size' - not too small, but big enough. . . .
so I thought I would get a necklace now and upgrade the studs later.
But while in the jewelry store, DH asked to see the 2 ctw and I tried them on. . .

I quickly found out that maybe 1 ctw is big enough, 2 ctw is BETTER! LOL!
They were amazing! They were amazing stones too so the fire was brilliant.
Dh was loving them and seemed to lose interest in the necklaces. . .crossing my fingers now!

LOL! I have 1 ctw and they ARE a good size BUT it's something when you try those 2 ct's on! I'm not one for wearing a lot of big diamonds but the earring just look soooooo pretty, I never thought I would like that size until I tried them on. I would probably still use the 1 ct's for certain situations though if I ever did get 2 ct's. Good luck, let us know what happens, you could always wind up with a necklace down the road right:smile1:

Swanky...you mentioned a cross...this one is stunning at Tiffanys. Try it on and it will capture you. You may not feel the need to upgrade your diamond studs once you put this beauty on.

Not a fan of the circle of life pendent. I think it's kinda blah. For my bday, my mother got me a gorgeous diamond necklace. It's like the three stone drop diamonds except instead of being in a circle shape, they're in a diamond shape. Each is surrounded by little diamonds, and then there's a bigger diamond in the middle. I love it. I'll try to get a pic up sometime.

All this talk about pendants and I actually wound up getting a beautiful one for V-Day, it's hard to explain... a 40 point yellow princess diamond center set in 18k yellow gold all in an 18k white gold setting with white diamonds around it about 20 points. Oh, got a picture.....this picture doesn't do it justice though.........
