Swanky, it looks beautiful! And what a gorgeous rock you have  The setting's micropave looks very delicate but at the same time sturdy enough which is important for a rock of your size :smile1: When the band is too thin the ring can actually warp (what happened with Vera Wang's fine jewelry line), yours looks perfect.

I really like the high setting - it's very pretty and it has enough going for itself that you could wear it on your right hand and your stackers on your left as "true"wedding bands.

Thanks y'all! I went and looked at a few nicer jewelry stores today and nothing took my breath away. So I like it better today than yesterday :D
Unfortunately, my jeweler was supposed to call today w/ a quote to custom build it in my size, to hold my size stone and in platinum and she didn't call.

:blah:

Swanky! I love it! This is a setting I've considered, too. It'll be gorgeous on your finger. Mine's just too chubby for it.....my finger, that is! Can't wait to see it all made up!

swanky, perhaps you saw my thread on pricescope? :p

i just received my Michael B Paris Ring last week and posted a thread on the forum...

it's truly stunning, you can't go wrong with this look !

just so you know, if you plan to wear an eternity band with this setting you MUST MUST MUST get a spacer ring so that the 2 rings won't eat each other up !

good luck and gorgeous diamond !

I was thinking the same thing! This "baby" can stand on it's own quite nicely...yet another look. Love the diamond prongs! GORGEOUS!!!
