Yes but I'm the BUYER not the seller in that auction -- was just posting the link because people asked to see pics of my bag and my camera phone is busted.

why am i in trouble?

:)

I agree. I think they are quite confused :D

It was confusing because that auction ended with 0 bids---it looked like it hadn't sold, not that it was an auction you won. I'm sorry about your bag.

No, but I asked and you didn't answer for some reason, so I had to ask again. We had multiple reports from people in here that thought it was your auction. I needed to ask for clarification

Thank you! :D

I was watching that bag and could not figure out if it was a stained whiskey bag or what. Next time you win something that is that junked up, you should file a snad.

I did not think the auction was yours, nor did I report your post. My only issue is that alot of people do stuff to bags (like your seller did) and then pass it off to someone else. Then we end up giving buyers advice on the ebay forum here.

The bag is supposed to have a rustic, worn, weathered look. It is not supposed to be cleaned with Coach products.

The olive oil was a bad idea. You learned something.

Next time, call Coach for advice on what to use on their bags.

I feel stupid asking that, but what is that about the oil that it ruins the leather? :shrugs: WE all know that olive oil is good for skin. Quite frankly if I wanted to shine my bag, I also would have thought of putting some oil on it. :shame:

i think that regular oil is ok in teeny tiny doeses, but olive oil is a food product and doesnt have a long shelf life. the enzymes could potentially start producing an odor, especially in the sun.

Get some Saddle Soap and try to clean all of the Olive Oil out of it before it goes bad and starts to stink. Then put some Apple Leather Conditioner on it and pray that it helps some. I wish you had posted here BEFORE you did anything to the bag - we all could have helped you file a claim and get your $$$ back on the bag. :(

The oil may also transfer onto the clothing you are wearing if you put too much on it...Think of oil all over your bag AND the clothing you are wearing.
