Thanks again for all the kind comments! Today is the first sunny day we've had, so I totally left the office to have lunch at a restaurant with a sunny patio
.My ring is platinum and the stone size is 1.19 (I don't know the total weight...there are 16 little diamonds in the "halo" portion). I wear a 4.5 size ring and have short fingers, so the resounding comments this week about my ring has been "OMG! It's HUGE!" which makes me feel very happy and LUCKY. I never thought that I wanted a big ring, but I have to say, I am kind of loving it ...hehe

I'm happy to write that we've settled on a date - October 2, 2008 since it will be out tenth anniversary together!
We are still very early on in the planning stages, but are almost 90% certain that we will have a destination wedding with us the two of us (or immediate family members depending on how much pressure we get ). We very much like the idea of throwing a fun, informal party when we get back. I've never thought of myself having a "traditional" wedding. However, we're still talking about it, but setting the date was huge for us.
