I'm happy to write that we've settled on a date - October 2, 2008 since it will be out tenth anniversary together!

We are still very early on in the planning stages, but are almost 90% certain that we will have a destination wedding with us the two of us (or immediate family members depending on how much pressure we get ;) ). We very much like the idea of throwing a fun, informal party when we get back. I've never thought of myself having a "traditional" wedding. However, we're still talking about it, but setting the date was huge for us.

All your heartfelt congratulations has been greatly appreciated! My fiance was so shocked that so many people sent their best wishes.

We actually got complaints from relatives and friends about the quality of pictures (that the ring was blurry), so we took some more last night, and I hope to post them later...nearly two weeks later, I still can't stop staring!

I finally learned about the "flower" function of a digital camera, so here are some more detailed pictures.

I've been thinking about what kind of wedding band to get with this even though our date is still over a year away. Any suggestions would be great!

(Sorry for my hands...they were very dry and I did not get the put lotion on them)
