I really recommend doing some reasearch on Pricescope.com - everyone there is really knowledgeable. From what I read about Tiffany's, it will be harder to get a 1ct ring from Tiffany's for less than $10,000 because of the stone range (quality-wise) that they use - not to mention you are also paying a premium for the "name". I've also heard that you can e-mail them and they are fast to get you a quote.

I just tried on a Legacy ring in Tiffany's but with an Auquamarine (my b-stone), it was about $8,000, though the stone was larger than 1ct there's def. no comparison in price between a Diamond and and Aqua.......

Thanks SuLi and Lola. I had a feeling the Tiffany Legacy (diamond) would cost a lot more... The Aquamarine stone is gorgeous, (I think a tPFer has one) $8000 is not too bad but I'll need a diamond (for less than $10000) since I'm looking for an e-ring. Will definitely check out Pricescope.com!

Congrats to you SuLi! Sorry for my belated wishes. Are you gonna invite all of us to the wedding?!?
