I hate it when buyers ask me to refund them the difference of shipping costs

This subject came up in a previous thread. IMO if you don't like the amount of shipping, don't bid! That happened to me this past week after buyer won item. She was questioning why it was so high. She purchased the Mac barbie. Well, first I thought she got it for a good price of $60. I've seen auctions where sellers get a lot more. Then she wanted the shipping reduced. Cheapie!


Personally, I don't think it has anything to do with an amount charged for shipping but when a seller goes back on his/her word (stylefly's post describes it best).
 
they agree to shipping when they bid. that is a binding contract. done and done.

place a statement in your auctions if you have to that says 'don't bid if you disagree with the cost of shipping'. make it small, but put it in somewhere.
