Your kitty is SO SO SO cute!!!! A water bottle is what I always used to train. It never takes long. If you are gone all day keep the kitty and the box and it's food and water in one room. The cat will get the point. (People always say cats are untrainable but it is just my hot opinion that they learn stuff faster than any other kind of animal I've had. Not that they'll sit up or shake but that's just too beneath a cat. And horses just won't won't use a litter box no matter how hard you try )

And he's trained now! yay! took to it pretty quickly, I think he had to get used to the new environment.

glad to hear he knows his litter box now. cats usually don't have problems being litter trained unless they are sick or have an issue with the type of litter. have fun with him!! i adore my cat and she is 17 years old!
