It's true. Gucci create new designs every season, high end for the catwalk and more commercial models, they can be so amazing, museum quality, almost too special to use or very wearable and excellent quality, but occasionally there's a bag I think :wtf:!?!. I have 36 Gucci bags so am totally not against the brand, but the 'Valentine's special' was Ltd Ed, sold out everywhere and hugely popular including with my mother :shrugs:. I have to say it's perfect for picnics and outdoor events and blings-up dress-down clothes etc. I think it was a case of my Darling not daring to go 'top-end' because the prices and my SA wanting to recommend something very coveted, so there you go ;)

Now I'm thinking about it, that 'V-special' is very much in the style of Alessandro Michele's new bags, I should dig it out and please everyone again and look fashionable :laugh:

Sounds familiar, mine did similar for a Valentines at Gucci and bought probably one of the only bags I wouldn't have bought. Worse my SA was in on it. I use it for the beach or holidays too LOL, I would never get rid of it.

Mine is from the former East germany (GDR) so old too, interesting, but unused. That one is plastic-lined and no zippers too, obviously utility more a strong point than luxury goods :D

My husband is definitely my enabler when it comes to my purse addiction. He has surprised me multiple times & each time was successful. Lucky me ♡♡♡
Sometimes my cousin even asks for his opinion when she is buying purses for herself...LOL!

It's not something I would have picked out myself (too blingy) but I love that dang purse. The intent was for me to take it on our vacation to FL the following week and I did (even though I really missed my Hermes [emoji26]). It has now become my staple vacation/FL bag and everytime I carry it I remember that silly grin on his face. Priceless!!!

ps it also came with matching shoes [emoji23]

It's cute and all but I already have an Eva and I NEEDED a new wallet so bad! For my birthday he picked something else out that I never would have ordered as I think LV's jewelry is overpriced for what it is. That being said, I love that he picked it out himself and I wear it all the time because it's special to me.

My SO hasn't bought any bags outside of specific requests. He has very different tastes than I do, so it's just a no-go.

If I'm unsure if I ought to get/keep something, I do seek his opinion and trust it. It's always spot on and has helped my style tremendously.
