if anyone has info about a hammered rose gold 5 motif, i’d be over the moon
Sorry, not info, but just to add that this item may indeed be getting scarce, as I heard from my SA recently that they have not been getting any shipments of the hammered YG or RG for some time! I found it surprising as to me the hammered design are staples just like the MOP.
Hopefully it’s just a temporary shortage.

I think the return policy varies, and the boutique may accommodate you depending on your relationship with the SA (they allowed it with me, but I am a repeat client). You can ask. I have found VCA to be very accommodating. You can also order online and get a full refund if you don't want to deal with a boutique.

I think if you are pretty sure you want a piece, and if you do not have a regular SA or a relationship at a boutique, I'd call VCA and order it. That is the surest way you will get it, especially during this time of low inventory.

That’s good to know. I will ask my SA and see what he says. He‘s normally very accommodating. Thanks

Hi everyone!! I am New to VCA,, I haven't purchased any piece yet but I am looking to learn more of the brand and of these Vintage Rose Gold and Yellow gold motif bracelets. I now see that it is one of the most popular items. I'v never had put down a deposit for jewelry before hand let alone if I didn't like it, there's not a refund?? I like to go and try before buy,,but this is a whole new aspect...anyway, if there's anyone who can give me a few pointers,,,and intel on how long of a wait after deposit does it take to receive the bracelets, please help... looking to add to my bracelet stack as I have Cartier Love and Juc,, thank you

More pics from NYC 5th Ave. Stock is very low but they also have a tiger’s eye 5-motif bracelet and a more brownish carnelian 5-motif (which I’m trying on in the photos). In the first photo the onyx earrings are mine but the 10-motif is not.

Hi. Is that 10 motif YG? I was in Short Hills over the weekend and was told the RG 10 motif wouldn’t be available until the fall.

BTW, they had a 20 motif blue agate if anyone is interested. Other than that, low inventory.

I feel like we get a different story from every boutique! Most likely some of these items have a soft hold on them but are available if specifically inquired about. Is the Short Hills location a standalone boutique? Thank you.

Yes. It’s owned by London Jewelers. It’s interesting because when they’ve had pieces transferred for me, they often come from Beverly Hills. I’m wondering if certain boutiques have a relationship in terms of sharing and transferring pieces.

And love your lion clip and how you style him! Thank you for the helpful hints in your earlier posts.

The short answer is it is hard to get solid gold pieces right now. The best bet is to work with an SA (or several) and tell them the specific pieces you want. Generally, Neimans can refund you and the standalone boutiques will give you a credit if you don't want the piece you ordered. The wait on every piece is different, depending on what your SA can find, the popularity of the piece, and how much of that piece is being produced. I would suggest posting this question in the discussion thread and people can give you more details about VCA in general. This thread is to share pieces that have been seen in the wild so people can try to grab them.

Thank you very much! I appreciate it. Yes, it seems that certain locations have a relationship as far as transferring pieces, and that the original boutique has first pass at selling it to their clients of course.

Interesting, because it is rumored that London Jewelers is taking over a space in the Short Hills Mall (previously a Rolex AD jewelry store, Sydney Thomas)

I'm not a VIP at VCA to know all the secrets of inventory, but I can share at Chanel, they definitely have a process like that. At select stores (Chanel Beverly Hills is one of them), Chanel has the right to keep an item for 14 days and not ship it out. This is to allow their BH clients first rights to purchase. This means even if a SA sees it in inventory, BH does not have to ship it. I know this because I really wanted an item, and it was at BH. My SA tried to get it but no go. He happened to know the manager at BH and called, and it was finally released as a favor (whatever that means). I did not ask nor did I really wanted to know all the drama, but nevertheless, that's how I found out about the system. That was a couple years ago, so I'm not sure about now, especially since COVID with the new process. For sure though, there is a process to support their regular clients and certainly the VCA VIPs. Even on orders of out of stock items, my VCA SA told me the VIPs get stuff first, then the paid orders, then the "please find one for me" requests. I asked because I wanted to know how long earrings would take which then he told me the order of deliveries. I think it makes sense. If I am a VCA VIP (which I am not) and I am spending $500K-$1M+ a year, I would sure hope I get some priority.
