Ever since you posted this photo @Notorious Pink I have been in love with these earrings and my SA finally got in a pair for me! I can’t decide between the more formal (at least in my eyes) blue sapphire earrings versus the more playful pink versions.
Of course I would like to get both but that’s just way too much $$$.
Why I love each:
Blue—more of a statement piece that matches my eyes, maybe a bit better long term choice. The blues on this piece are so dark and vibrant.

Pink— slightly more subtle as the pink doesn’t pop like the blue does. Could maybe go with more things and be worn to less formal occasions. This is important as having the wearability aspect would allow me to take them out more often!
I somewhat wish that the pinks were slightly darker but according to a few people this is about as dark as it gets.

Both colors are beautiful but the blue is absolutely stunning on you. The wg, blue sapphire, and diamonds compliment your hair color and skin tone very well. I think you can still dress down the blue for less formal occasions or even on semi casual days, I can see it pair well with denim jacket and cool toned cardigans/sweaters. I'm usually a sucker for rg but in this creation I feel that all the stones look lost in this metal combo.

Do you think the blue will be more timeless too?

When you look at your pictures does the blue or pink make your blue eyes bluer?

Take close up pix of you wearing a blue earring in one ear and a pink earring in other ear.

Close up includes hair, eyes and with both earrings in one pix.
That should help you decide!

They are both so beautiful on you! Can you imagine what occasions you would wear with this style, and therefore what color schemes are you like to wear on such occasions? That being said, if the blue matches your eyes, that will always be lovely combination.

Hi! If I may comment and share my thoughts...

First, of the two choices, I would absolutely go with the WG blue sapphires. It is far more elegant and can be worn formal or casual.

The RG pink sapphire looks like mall jewelry to me. Yes, I know it's VCA, but I like to take the name off and look at the design for what it is. Taking the VCA name off, the RG and pink sapphires in this design looks like mass produced mall jewelry to me. That's my honest opinion, and I do want to share this point of view so you can think about it. Plus, RG will not have the same "high jewelry" vibe at as a white metal such as platinum and WG.

That said...
What I would do? I would not get these earrings.
I actually tried these on these Palmyre earrings! Well, to be specific, I was never interested in these earrings, but my SA brought them out for me to try on as I think he was desperate and running out of ideas to show me in WG.
You may recall I only buy platinum or WG metal which is very limited in VCA.

For these Palmyre earrings, I love the colored gemstones (I'm a huge colored gemstone fan). However, the Palmyre design is not artistic at all, at least not to me. I felt like it was just a bunch of tiny melee stones, and this design is quite basic, it's just a waterfall earring. Google "waterfall earrings" and you will see what I mean.
Here is a quick example:

The Palmyre waterfall earrings to me do not speak of high jewelry artistic design. They speak of a "get a big look with a bunch of tiny stones" design.

I love colored gemstones, and they give off a completely different vibe than just "diamond pieces."
In my opinion, when buying colored gemstones, you need to either go big with a large single gemstone (not tiny melees), or, if you go with tiny melees, the colored gemstones need to be set in an artistic design such as Folie des pres which is stunning.

I feel Palmyre design is a miss in this regard as it's just a bunch of tiny melees in a station style chain (e.g. waterfall).
I like the Folie des pres earrings far more in case you might want to consider those.

For Palmyre, I would think about how what outfits you would wear with these earrings and think if you would love the look it portrays with that outfit.

Of course, this is just two cents, and jewelry is 100% preference.
If you love love love them, of your two choices, I vote WG sapphire. Hope that helps. Good luck!
