Here is my contribution. From NYC, this was a few weeks ago, but you can always call them. I was on the second floor and the SA wanted to show me the Rose de Noel Carnelian pieces as the "red" is amazing. It's actually even more striking in real life... stoplight red!

The pieces I tried on in case anyone is looking (I did not take photos):
- WG Magic 16 motif necklace (white MOP, carnelian, GMOP)
- WG Magic 5 motif matching bracelet
- WG VA oynx pave 20 motif necklace
- WG VA oynx pave 5 motif matching bracelet

By the way, I am really liking the Magic 16 motif, it's so groovy and swing-y! If anyone goes to the NYC it's worth trying on to see if you like it. The matching bracelet is nice too, but that big charm might be a bit annoying and get in the way.

And for those who like super blingy bracelets, this is the bracelet I tried on back in April which I posted a really really bad mod shot. It does not do it justice. I took a prettier photo of it on a bracelet holder this time. You can see how beautiful it is, shaped like a tiara, a “tiara on the arm” is what my SA & I chuckled about. I also posted my old very very bad mod shot so you can see. It looks much better in real life and is really nice for anyone looking for a high jewelry blingy bracelet.

Not all SA “hunt”, not every member of tPF has a dedicated SA, locations and SA have their own clients that they offer their pieces to first and not readily offer up what they have available. However, luckily with VCA, if we know where the item is, usually we will be able to buy it, unlike with other brands. For more rarely seen items and certainly for declined SO, we would not know to ask for them, but may want them when we see them for sale. Most premium brands on tpf have threads on what people have seen in boutiques, usually focused on very popular items or harder to find items, so I think this thread is in that spirit.

Also, some of us don’t live anywhere near a VCA boutique or a department store that carries the brand. The photos contributed on this thread and others are extremely helpful. I know that your efforts and photos are most appreciated.

This gives me hope. I’ve been on the look out for the hammered yg bracelet for months now. It’s suppose to be a 10 year anniversary gift but we can’t find it and the SA we are working with hasn’t seen it since before the pandemic.

I don't know if this advice still holds true, but I was advised by my SA right before the recent price increase that VCA was prioritizing clients who had pre paid in full. I prepaid for these earrings in full back in May and only just got the text that they had come in. It might be worth asking your SA about it cuz it could be the case that the YG hammered bracelet is going to pre-paid clients and not even hitting the boutique.

I prepaid for these earrings in full back in May and only just got the text that they had come in. Yes, this is true. My SA told me the same. Priority first goes to VIP clients of course, then it's those who paid. Just asking your SA to bring in one for you doesn't really count.

It’s such a risk to pay in full upfront for an item that you need to try on to determine if it even suits. Then what happens if you decide you don’t like it? I thought there weren’t any refunds only store credit at boutique. This is definitely a lot to consider with the low inventory

I think the return policy varies, and the boutique may accommodate you depending on your relationship with the SA (they allowed it with me, but I am a repeat client). You can ask. I have found VCA to be very accommodating. You can also order online and get a full refund if you don't want to deal with a boutique.

I think if you are pretty sure you want a piece, and if you do not have a regular SA or a relationship at a boutique, I'd call VCA and order it. That is the surest way you will get it, especially during this time of low inventory.

My SA told me that for payments on pre-orders (stuff you haven’t seen) you can get a full refund if you don’t like it.
