The cut of both the blazers!! May I ask where are they from?
:smile:It’s actually the same blazer just in different lighting (although I do have it in navy as well ;)) It‘s from Massimo Dutti but unfortunately quite a few years old now

I find that the classic two button blazer from Theory fits quite similar though so may be worth having a look at?

Hello ladies  Here are the promised photos. I hope they make sense - I was struggling to get a good angle. You start by making the a flower knot. Where you have the two long ends you fold the edges inward to hide the hem and make sure the fab ring is facing the right way (you don’t have to hide the hems but I think it looks neater). Then you wrap the scarf around your neck and bring the ends back to the front and you tie. You can play around with it to arrange it the way you want and hide the tied ends under the flower.

Reviving this thread, as I am sure many of us have made a shift to more casual wear over the last two years!
WFH, my daily routine is a simple top and an H carre, or shawl in the colder months. Its become a comfortable pattern that has spilled over to leisure days also. I actually wear my carres more now than before, as I’ve gotten comfortable with the “throw it on over a t-shirt” approach, which used to be reserved for shawls only (which are yummy over a plain fitted tee and jeans).

It was cool today, so basic charcoal tee is mostly covered by an old leather jacket that I’ve had since the early-mid 2000s. Silk is the lovely CLF, DF, which technically is the property of DH, but he lets me borrow it! Worn simply: folded in half and again, to make a narrower strip, then tied loosely at the front and tucked. Was going to go with a cowboy, or the ascot cowl described earlier in the thread, but was a little paranoid about snagging it on a zip.

Looking forward to seeing your casual-carre stylings!
