How to tell your neighbors to be quiet? (Adult content inside)

Maybe Hallmark makes a nice card on this????? Or get a card that says somethig and add you are way too loud. Send it no signature. Just the embarassment should make them quiet things. Of send them a porn tape with the note for your evening enjoyments to block out the noise you make and the whole building hears when they walk by your door.

Or maybe just say you heard her washing machine was a bit unstable and was banging against the wall, what a crazy time of night to be doing laundry!. If she questions it, just say yes, about 11pm last night (or whatever time it was).:shrugs:

Wait for the lightbulb....:whistle::idea:

That worked for a friend of mine!:lol:

I would get up very early and leave a nice basket of freshly baked muffins with a nice cheeky note. Tell them you thought they might need some nourishment after the night they had, then if it were me, I might also ask for some tips!! hehehe

Seriously, maybe they don't realize the noise and being nice about it is the only way. Now, if that doesn't work, talk to the building manager.

I had this happen to me in an apt in college. The guy that lived there had a different girl there each night and they were LOUD, screaming and moaning and all that. Well, how did I know what was really going on in there? I made a suspected domestic violence call to the local pd, just saying I'm not sure whats going on in there, but I'm worried for the safety of the woman.

I never heard another peep from that apt again...

I have an idea... record it and start playing it back LOUD!!!
They will realize it (the recording voice) is themselves and get too embaressed to repeat it again for you to record.

Wow, some of these ideas are GREAT- like the recording the noises one, or the "can I join in" idea.

Personally, I would leave a tongue-in-cheek note to let them know that they're being too loud and politely inquire that they stifle their nightly escapades a couple notches down. Chances are they have no idea that they're inviting the rest of the world to listen in on their bouts of unbridled passion in the middle of the night!

Keep us posted! HeHe This is quite the unfortunate situation.

A note sounds good, music is a great suggestion!
I remember years ago I was in an ex's apt. and must have been a bit loud because the neighbor came by and said to him "is everything okay?"....my first reaction was "what a b*tch" and I don't think I toned it down (mind you these were apts on the beach with singles and no kids). So I wouldn't suggest direct confrontation:smile:

Leave a note that says, "All of your neighbors can hear you bumping uglies."

In my old apartment building I had the same problem. It made me laugh because the girl was this tiny quiet thing when I'd see her around the building, but at night WOW was she loud.
