That is exactly what I did researching and finding out about itThe reason I want surgeries done in Korea is because they specialize in Asian faces. I'm in the US, and American doctors aren't experienced with Asian faces. I tried researching doctors in the US, but there are mixed reviews. Even the Asian American doctors that do surgeries on Asians still aren't as good as the ones in Korea. Some Asian people on here that got surgeries in the US say they regret it and should've gone to Korea.
Not only agencies but some clinics also offer airport/hotel pick-up/drop-off. Maybe you should google it to find a clinic with this kind of service. If I'm not mistaken Girin, JK, VIP offers airport/hotel pick-up/drop-off service and Girin offers a hotel room at a very close distance from the clinic. You pretty much summed up the services that "agencies" offer. They are businesses called agencies in Seoul, they help with translation, booking, transportation etc. Some people who go to Seoul alone are able to manage by taking taxis (I think kakao taxi???) and using google translate. If you're anxious, I recommend you read other people's reviews on their PS experience in Korea. From the airport, depending on where you're going, you can ask the information services on taking the airport bus to Seoul.
I would be in October!Hi there. Is anyone traveling to Seoul for any plastic surgery procedures? In the up coming months. Probably in Aug or Sept.
Hope to find someone so I won’t be alone. Do inbox me! (:
hi are you still going?I am planning on going there too somewhere in Aug or Sept, if I can get a good deal on air tickets.
Yes, I hope I can get fast response for the date so I can book the tickets in November.hi are you still going?
Would you like to go together? Which procedure would you be getting?Yes, I hope I can get fast response for the date so I can book the tickets in November.
I want to do DES, upper and lower. What about you?Would you like to go together? Which procedure would you be getting?
I'll be doing v-line, with Braun! Which clinics have you shortlisted?I want to do DES, upper and lower. What about you?
Still debating between Marble and Girin though.I'll be doing v-line, with Braun! Which clinics have you shortlisted?
I contacted Braun back then and they gave a good price too!I'll be doing v-line, with Braun! Which clinics have you shortlisted?
Yes they do but with certain minimum surgery cost. If the surgery costs doesn't reach over 5millions then they won't be able to offer the service. Ofc they want sell and sell .. it is just part of business.
I see! Am still deciding between Oct / Dec!Still debating between Marble and Girin though.
When will you go to SK? Have you gotten the appointment with them?
I respect your opinion, but I also disagree with your comment here. Not everyone is brave like you, and you can't expect others to follow your path and do exactly what you did while you were in SK or other countries. You won't find that type of service anywhere. Korea is not a handheld country for plastic surgery. In fact, the complete opposite. Nowhere in the world I've feel they take plastic surgery more casually than in Korea. And I have gotten plastic surgery in two other countries.
For example, in Korea you can't even hire nurses to stay the night with you. Also, you get discharged after all procedures, it's very rare to spend a night. A lot of surgeries that in all other countries would be performed under general here are performed with local anaesthesia and sedation. Also, surgeries aren't performed in hospitals that are prepared for a medical emergency, but in their own clinics. You better pray that nothing goes wrong, because if it does, you are ****ed.
This is not to bash Korea. I'm very happy with the plastic surgeries I've gotten there. But it's not a country for spring chickens for sure.
If you feel this way about being able to do basic things and are this afraid, Korea ain't for you. Sorry but it's the truth. You probably can get almost all surgeries you want to get done in your country. Maybe try traveling outside your country for fun before you do it for medical tourism.
BTW, Korea is a very safe country. You certainly won't get kidnapped, LOL.
