@MissOrange i had a really badly done acculift done by a shadow doctor from ID hospital 10 years ago, they switched my surgery up to a young inexperienced doctor ( I’ll explain to those who are interested but won’t go into details now) my youthful face was completely sucked dry and hollow, looked 15 years ago when the swelling went down. ID hospital of course refused to admit they made a mistake and the owner of the hospital personally asked me to piss off and kicked me out. After two years depression and fear of going through another surgery. I finally resort to another clinic to fix the issue with the help of a friend, I did the fat grafting surgery twice to restore my facial fat but only was about to get 70% back of what I use to have since I am too thin to have a third operation. I then continue to live my life thinking that ‘I got away with it’ and be thankful with what I was about to fix despite other surgery failures that ID hospital put me through ( not important here).

Anyway after 9 years I notice my face suddenly start sagging at a very extreme speed and heavily, and no, it’s not due to natural aging.

I have obviously done lots of comparison with my photos 1-1.5 year ago VS recent photos. 1-1.5 years ago face was still plump and uplifted, no nasbilo folds or jowls.

It is worth noting that my whole family including my parents and my older sister are blessed with no sagging or folds ( of course they age too but very very slowly). I also used to look extremely youthful for my age before the sudden face sag.

I took some before and after photos to see a well known plastic surgeon in my country and one commented that this is definitely not natural aging, more like a sudden case of pre-mature aging. It could be the cause of something heavy dragging my entire face down, causing muscles and tissues and he doesn’t know why but he strongly suspected that it had something to do with my fat transfer.

An experienced translator who works in this industry pointed out to me it could be a case of injected fat being transferred to superficially verses into the deeper fat later which is where is it supposed to be, it is a common mistake. It was not discovered earlier for the past 9 years because I was still relatively young but the fact is my SMAS layer cannot take the weight cannot more and somehow, something ( it could be ligaments, it could be the SMAS layer itself) snapped and became loose.

My entire face really kind of looks as if it’s melting and it’s pretty horrid for someone so young to bare something like that when I have a whole life ahead of me. I am suicidal and on antidepressants atm.

I already tried Ulthera but it only ( temporarily ) fixed 60% of the issue for me, I looked into micro thread lifting but most reviews are not positive because of the longevity, lots of internal micro scarring and unsuitable for those who might need a facelift.

Would appreciate anyone either either similar experience or had a SMAS facelift give me some guidance.
You didn't get done by a shadow doctor at ID Hospital. They are actually one of the good ones with CCTV in the operating theatre, they showed me. My Korean friends say it has a good reputation, and I was really happy with my results.

@MissOrange: i have been following on the forum for quite some time. Following your advice, I went to Dr Seo for fat graft, but he didn’t do my undereye right below lash line (which is my probablematic area) which I only know after the surgery, since he says that will cause lumps. Now I am looking for another place that does undereye. I looked into Fresh but in the photos it seems they only do upper eyelid. Do you have any suggestions for a place thaat does good undereye fat graft?

Also in Fresh website, I see they have Autogenous Dermis Nasolabial Line Surgery which doesn’t use implant but your own tissue? What do you think about this procedure. You said you did Radiesse for your folds but fillers always cause lumps in my face. Dr Seo did some fat graft into my nasolabial fold but it wasn’t very effective. I wonder if this procedure that Fresh does is new and if there is any data on it? Thank you!

Hi @stm66 sorry I don't know anyone who does under eyes fat transfer or anything about Fresh's new technique.

Today I am going to see a medical tattooist to give me symmetrical round areolas with a more uniform pigment as the laser damage from 3 years ago is causing the skin to turn red when hot with spillage of pigment. I have paid the £200 deposit and have £695 left to pay today. The tattooist does areola 3D reconstruction for breast cancer patients so I am hoping she can make mine look better. She told me at consult to never get laser for scars or acne as it never works. Laser was one of my biggest mistakes of my life. Sadly I have seen young ladies whose pale faces are now permanently red even a year out from aggressive laser for acne. And do NOT get Taylor subcision for acne scars. I have seen ladies in their 30s who look 50s as their faces have dropped after this invasive technique that may cut the facial retaining ligaments.

Anyway hoping today goes well so I can move on. She showed me dark honey and peach options for the tattoo. I shall choose the one closest to pink.

Here is what the clinic does. The 3D areola tattoo looks super real! The pic is of a breast cancer lady with no nipples but a 3D tattoo! I will show the pic to the tattooist as what I want to achieve colour wise.

OMG! Miri the medical tattooist of 15 years experience at Tracie Giles in London gave me back normal looking areolas! She WAS able to tattoo over the white and red periareolar scars! It took 1.5 hours. It was so surreal to see all the scars disappear and be replaced by a perfectly round areola border. When I told her my age, she was shocked! She said I look 25 and am so tiny. I revealed that I had every part of my body liposuctioned so there wasn’t much of me left. lol. I showed her my selfie at age 49 before I started my rejuvenation journey and she said yes I looked 49 in that picture.

And then the local anaesthetic wore off at home, and the pain was unreal! It got up to 9/10 so I took some voltarol 100 mg as 50 mg was not strong enough and now the pain is 6/10. I don’t know how people get body tattoos. Maybe they get drunk after the procedure to numb the pain? lol. We agreed on the colour warm honey after she painted a few colours on my skin to see what matched best. I get a free retouch in a month’s time. My eyebrow tattoo has lasted 7 years so I am hoping this will last that long. Tracie Giles is a favourite of UK celebs (Love Island, Made in Chelsea, TOWIE) who need brow tattoos. Now I can close the chapter on my breasts. Although at the back of my mind, my thighs could do with a mini lift and one day I will need a neck lift? lol.

Hi @lilybillylele, try kakao, the korean version of whatsapp. I crossed him off my list as he is now far too expensive and the postop video at 1 year showed some laxity and nasolabial lines of a foreigner patient had returned. Seeing him by his rolls royce on IG also put me off him.
Hi MissOrange, do you know where I can check his 1 year results? All I see are 4/5 days post op photos on IG.

Okay today’s post is on hair loss or alopecia. I have one bald patch on the back of my scalp and freaked out. I then did research and started upping my iron intake (dark chocolate, fortified cereals and a vitabiotic iron supplement) as low iron can cause alopecia and started applying OTC topical 2% minoxidil £13 from amazon 9 days ago. Today my hair stylist says he can see tiny hairs growing on my bald patch! I then researched what patients on oral minoxidil 2.5 mg a day are saying and they are reporting not only hair regrowth but also hair growing everywhere on the body! Looks like this minoxidil sounds like a wonder drug for hair growth and it has been around for 25 years! My hair seems to be growing and growing too!

I have just bought 2 more minoxidils for the bargain price of £6.98 each from amazon fresh! I shall see how long my hair gets after 3 months of this topical treatment.
