How to curl stubborn asian lashes?

Shu designed the eyelash curler for Asian eyes specifically - he made the smaller one which may be easier to grab each section around your eye, worth checking out to me! The larger Shu curler is awesome too!!! I haven't tried Shiseido, so I'm a little biased towards Shu Uemura :amuse:

My lashes are straight and point downward as well and I have the Shu. I am too lazy to use it on a daily basis, but when I do use it, man I see a huge difference!
I'm glad I splurged $28 to buy it.
(I haven't used the Shiseido one before though!)

my mom bought me a Shu curler years ago. then I found out she owns 4! I think it's definitely made for asians since I hardly have eyelashes either but I manage to get them curled(if I'm not lazy) with Shu.

i use shu and i think it does work better than other brands (though i've never tried shiseido in particular). not sure if its the same one that candace is talking about but i also own the travel size one (it's about 1/4 to 1/3 the width of the original), and i've found that it doesn't work as well, tho does ok as a secondary on-the-go tool.

I've only tried the shiseido reg. size curler and I really like it. I have semi Asian eyes (reg. curler's don't work for my eyes since I'm half Asian) and I've never had a problem with it. Also I have the mini Shu and it's great for your lashes you have a hard time getting in the inside and outside corners. Plus if you have the time, you can do your whole eyelashes with the mini one.
