Hi ladies, I have one of the hamptons satin hobos in white and it has gotten pretty gross. There aren't really marks but the white has turned yellow in some spots (discoloration). Any ideas on how to clean? I was thinking of just putting it in the wash but I know thats extreme..help me please!

This has happened to my resort Sabrina! I didn't notice the yellowing until I bought the matching cosmetic case a few months back, and put them next to each other. I'm debating on bringing it in to Coach for a zipper issue, so I may hold off on cleaning it, but I'm not sure even a professional cleaner can get that yellowing to go away.

Lillia >> for siggy bag, use baby shampoo and toothbrush!
follow my steps right before your post.. on the how to clean SIGNATURE JACQUARD STRIPE COLLECTION .. try it out ok! good luck!

I wonder if anyone has any suggestions for this...I still haven't done anything with my bag because I don't want to make it look worse! It is such a shame.

I have a red color transfer on the white leather-trimmed handle of my op art sabrina, I tried to clean it with baby wipes & makeup cream cleanser but it only manage to fade the stain rather than remove it.

Any safe idea on how to remove it? I heard about the rubbing alcohol n such but it sounds rather scary.

Hi,
Sorry if this a repeat and already addressed somewhere in this thread, dont' have time to read it all before I'm off work and leaving town.

Anyway, I have the large leather ali hobo with that light champagne satiny lining and the inside flap area has gotten quite dirty with normal wear and tear and I was wondering what I should use to clean it.

Thanks and Happy Holidays :)

hey!

does anyone know how to clean the lining/inside of a Spotlight bag? It is ketchup. a few days old.

the lining is like satin/other polyester blend

I asked the workers at the Coach Outlet and the manager recommended rubbing woolite on it but i'm not sure.

I have a white sig. hobo, and I noticed some dirt on it but since it's white I don't know if I can use the baby wipes to clean it. Any suggestions? Thank you!

blah956 > i cleaned my legacy stripe satin lining, and my coach fabric lining by using woolite and soft-old-toothbrush! hahaha.. i did the same thing like my post #86 but this time using woolite instead of baby shampoo.. but i believe using baby shampoo will work like a charm too, it's just that i only recently found woolite here in malaysia (imported) so, that's i started using it.. but before this, the baby shampoo will work wonders!

good luck!

Ericka > refer to my post number #86.. it should work.. i don't use baby wipes on signature fabric, i only use them on leather.. so, i can't comment on it..
maybe other tpf'er can advice..

any ideas on how to get candle wax out of suede?

my cat is a little monster, and jumped up on my bookshelf and knocked a lit candle down, and a little bit of the wax caught the bottom left front corner of my holiday patchwork gallery tote. :censor::cursing:

omg. try warming the wax (not hot) and maybe gently peel the wax off?

What's good to clean general dirty and pen marks out of lining? One of the ebay auctions I'm watching has a nasty dirty inside, but the outside is nice looking as far as I can tell.
