This happened to my green Betty too and I tried cleaning it myself without any luck. I think I am going to send it to lovinmybags.com and see it they can clean and correct the color. Sorry this happened to your chami!

apparantly the leather on this type of bag is very different for example to other Chloes. Maybe try and get some leather wipes like someone else suggested. I know in a thread in Balenciaga someone used those wipes followed by nivea cream to moisturise it and the results were amazing. Not sure where you can buy the leather wipes from though.
You could always pop it in the washing machine - seriously I am not joking I know someone who has done this with 2 bags and I was freaking out when she told me but wow they are as good as new. Not for the faint hearted though

Thanks for the report! I have been thinking about sending them my green Betty and now I feel more hopeful they will be able to get rid of the color transfer. It was such a pretty color when I first bought and now it is just yucky.
I got a pen mark on one of my Marc Jacobs bags and here's how I got it out:
I bought a bit of rubbing alcohol and dabbed a cotton swab in it. Then I blotted the swab with a paper towel to get the excess alcohol off and gently rubbed on the pen mark and it came right off. I would probably test a small patch of leather on your bag that's not very visible to make sure it's okay first.

If you're anywhere near So Cal, ivy, Chloe at South Coast Plaza recommends a company called factotum for leather cleaning. They got a dark ink mark out of my light-colored Betty and it looked as good as new!
I would use Amodex Ink and Stain Remover. I had a large patch of indelible ink on my cream leather couch, tried everything, and then looked online for help, and it was recommended on a stain removal forum.
I doubted it would work, but tried it as a last resort and it took the stains out- used it overnight 2 nights in a row and it took the stains out and left the leather perfect.

Anyway, I have found myself with quite a collection and I think I need to either sell or return some things. I've also found myself cheating on Chloe with a sexy new gal named Balenciaga... but of course, Chloe is still classy and tried and true. LOL. Long story short, tell me what you guys think should stay and go back?
