i would rather have non-designer bags than buy fakes and this is weird!! why would she post an article like this? it seems she's encouraging fakes are better and legal

Wow! I just sent that idiot reporter an email and told her how I felt. Hopefully, the entire article was done tongue-in-cheek and the outcome would be for the FBI to have a direct path by way of landmarks to unearth those counterfeit mildew-infested illegal bags. What a joke of a report!!! Every member of this Forum should email her (her address is directly below the title of the article). It's worth the effort.

I just think if more people understood the conditions in which these bags were made...often using child labor...maybe people would see that their knock-off handbag had a much higher price than just the dollars they paid.

What I really don't understand is that they could have done the artical as a factual piece "it is possible to go here and buy fakes" and it wouldn't have been illegal. It seems like a risk of problems with the law for no reason.
