How often do you rotate your bags?

I tend to get stuck on one or two purses and then use them to death.

I have a shelf with those little coat rack things installed right by my front door, except I put purses on the racks. I have four on there right now. I put the contents of the purse in a valet tray and then I can dump them into one of the purses depending on outfit.

But yeah I plan outfits around purses sometimes. Sometimes, I get the whole outfit ready (with purse) only to realize I have no shoes that will look halfway decent with it. :(

I tend to switch depending on what I'm doing (midnight runs to the grocery store only require a wallet so I just grab a wristlet to stow my money and phone in, versus a day trip which means a bottle of water, makeup, cookies, haha) or what I'm feeling that day. Luckily my purse is pretty well organized and I just have some big items to dump into another purse. In contrast, my friends and I were looking through our purses today and my god, some of them have chapstick and random gum wrappers and coins floating around randomly everywhere! For them, it makes more sense to wear the same one for a while.

I change bags every few days but sometimes I get into one bag for weeks at a time. I did that with the MJ black Stam bag. I used it for a couple of months with no break.

Normally, I pick a bag based on my outfit or occasion.

I never figured out a good system. I've bags that I love but just used a handful of times since I bought them. During the week I just can use 2 of my bags because they only fit my laptop for work so it's either a Bayswater in oak or a GST in black with silver hardware. My beautiful and beloved citys are sitting in the closet because I don't do much on a weekend. May be I should just carry my laptop under my arm and another bag on the other side because I just have to schlepp it from my car to the offive which are about 15 meters.
I'm sorry that I don't have a good answer for you as I'm seeking for it myself.

i usually don't change purses every day, more like every 4 days or so. i like carrying one purse for a little while, coordinating outfits etc and then after a few days i like to move on to something else. and i usually rotate only 75% of the bags i have, as some i only use once in a blue moon (evening bags, etc)

I change purse according to outfit and function. For an evening out with no kids I take my M/L chanel classic flap. If it is raining I carry my louis vuitton speedy or gucci horsbit. I love carrying my blue Balenciaga city, but it doesn't match everything so I change out. I believe a bag can make or break an outfit so I choose the bag that will look the best and will still meet my needs.

I have one bag i use as a everyday bag that i use like if i'm just running to mcds to get something to eat or going to the post office or what not. Than if i go anywhere i'm going to be out like shopping or going out to a nice dinner than i change my bag. Everytime i go somewhere i carry a different bag than i did the last time i went out.

I try to switch out once a week, but I'm trying to make it more of a habit to switch more often than that and base it upon what I feel like for the day or what I'm wearing. Otherwise, some bags won't be used for months at time.

It depends on where I am going, what I am wearing, and how much stuff I need to carry. I find my bag tends to reflect my mood too. Sometimes I carry a bag for a few weeks then pull something out that I haven't used for a while.

I agree with most here. First it depends on the season and I usually switch off every week. I try to go through my closet once a year and pick out the ones I've never worn, and if I'm not willing to get rid of them I force myself to wear it and usually by the end of the day I either am in love with it again or hate it enough to donate. I tend to collect too many purses so it's my way to keeping it small-er.

I rotate between 20 purses. I change daily. During the week I will not will not repeat until I have used every bag. I keep track, so I don't repeat. On the weekends I use whatever I feel like.
