How often do you rotate your bags?

I have an LV box and put everything in it at the end of each day and stuff and put a dust bag around the purse I used that day. That way I have to change bags each day. I choose the bag for that day depending on what I have planned - shopping, errands, school events, basketball games, etc.

I would rotate my bags daily but taking everything out and reorganizing is a pain to me! I rotate about once a week and that gives me the chance to throw out all receipts and stuff I have no need for anymore...

i change when i feel like it. sometimes 2 or 3 times a wk other times, once a month. i just dump everything on the bed, put everything i need in new bag, put old bag away in dust bag. all in all about 90 seconds of work for me. of course every so often something gets missed. generally i change bc of weather, outfit, size of bag needed or if i need something lower maintenance to go somewhere.

I decide by situation, how much I have to carry and my outfit. I have big bags which fit A4 and a computer for university days, midsize ones for running errands, smalls ones for opera and such... sometimes I just feel like carrying a certain one because I re-explored its beauty again or simply didn't carry it much and need to get my value per use ;D

Each season I take out approximately five bags in varying colors and sizes and place them on the coat rack in my foyer (I usually add at least three new bags throughout the season). Each week, I choose a bag to carry. Having a purse organizer helps. Having the bags out in the foyer is a reminder of my options.

I used to have tons and hoarded them, but now I have very less compared to some on this forum. what I do is I use my tote for errands or working. my 'daily' bags are for casual/go anywhere. my smaller bags and clutches are for going out. I've come to accept that my smaller bags just won't get used as much.. that's just how it is with clutches and stuff.

When I get a new bag I usually use it for a while. Other than that, I use a bag until a day comes that my bag clashes with my outfit or until I get tired to carrying it. Lately that seems to be a week or less.

I keep all of my purse items in a large pouch. It's just a makeup bag I found at the pharmacy. Anyway, I drop it into whatever bag I need to use for the day. This way, I can change purses everyday without effort.

I alternate them according to season... and events:
Fall/Winter- I always wear Louis Vuitton, alternating between my LV collection.
Spring- Hermes,Coach, and Gucci,
Summer- often all Gucci, the material ones, not leather. My fav's are my two from the Spring 2006 collection which had bamboo handles and accessories on them.

Special events: either one of my Hermes Kelly's, or one of my special edition LV's.

I don't have too many, so for the most part, I can work seasonally. Two of my bags only work in one season (fall/winter or spring/summer). Besides that I work with outfits. One of my bags is a bright print pattern, so if I'm wearing patterns, I'll pick a different bag. One is red, so again, there are some things it doesn't work with. I have a smaller purse that's pink suede, so that works in pretty specific contexts. There's no real system. In fact, sometimes, especially with a new bag, I'll break all these rules and just wear the thing :yes:.
